Description
Urgent ***We are currently building a new Workawayer Camp and need help with installing the solar, hydro and wind systems.
We will be building with bamboo and wood mostly and partially also cement.
If you have the skills needed, you are welcome. We also prefer people who have already been to a permaculture farm or who have done PDC so we can practise with farm designing. We would also be glad if you have a vision of an intentional community so we can relate to each other. We prefer those who will stay a minimum of three weeks.
About us:
We are a start-up permaculture farm located on an island (Biliran Island) in the Philippines. The place is envisioned by the owners, David and Lany (German-South American and Filipina couple), during their PDC Immersion in Thailand. The sanctuary is set to continuously improve into a regenerative farm paired with mixes of wellness activities such as freediving, yoga, meditation, sacred ceremonies, foraging courses, survival skills, organic Philippine cooking and holistic tourism.
The building of the Bamboo-Ferrocement Dome is currently on a break as we‘re setting up the new Workawayer Camp.
Landscapewise, the area has a magnificent view of the blue ocean, islands and the towering hills and mountains. A visitor will experience waking up to the sunrise and ending the day with the sunset view. The lot has a small waterfall and is surrounded by many river channels. We are so excited to welcome you and share this life here.
Who and what are we looking for:
+We are looking for individuals, couples or groups
who have open and willing hearts to help us build this permaculture haven.

+If you have knowledge about permaculture and organic farming, it will be a huge impact. +We are glad if you have skills in homestead gardening, building, conscious designing, healing modalities and survival skills. But a warm, kind and open heart is enough to be present here.
+Those who want to experience a laidback, simple, back-to-basics and natural lifestyles are welcome to join.
What you will get in return:

Simple, VERY basic native hut.
We provide a whole house with bathroom and traditional kitchen in the middle of the village. There is one large hut with two rooms in the camp and a tiny hut. There is also a big tent. We can also provide one smaller tent for you.
There are also spaces for hammocks and tents. The village still shows the basics of living. One cannot "expect" much convenience but anything can be acquired. There are online shops and it is easily get delivered to Biliran. There are local markets (15 mins) and big shops in Naval town (45 mins).Autres infos...
You can enjoy a dip in the rivers and waterfalls or explore Biliran island on your free time. You can also learn the kind of life from local Philippine province life. There are transportation options for you: renting a motorbike, taking a passenger motorbike, jeepney, bus or van.
For transportation:
The best is to take a motorbike hire which costs between 30 to 60 pesos to the nearest town, atm, market, bakeshop, parks, beaches, sights, clinic and offices. Renting a motorbike is also possible. Always don't hesitate to ask us if you need to go down from the village.Informations complémentaires
