  ABOUT ME:
  
  Hello! My name is Alma, I am a colombian writer and teacher in a rural high school. I am also very interested in sports such as cycling and skating, as well as in arts such as literature and dancing.
  
  
  I am very interested in astrology, mayan culture, meditation, yoga, reiki, feng shui and in general all healing practices of the spirit and body.
  
  ABOUT THE PLACE:
  
  I have rented a country house on the outskirts of a small town called La Paz in the department of Santander. It's not far from "Las gachas" Guadalupe and Florian in the "ventanas de Tisquizoque", Barbosa, Moniquirá or Tunja. Towards the northeast of the country. It is a charming place for contact with nature, to do yoga, meditate and be calm. Read, write ✍️ and to know the local culture in the rural context. This place is not tourist and the people are always impressed of you
  
  I have received travellers for 5 years (most of the photos are from this experience) and have used this volunteering platform that seems great to me and I am very grateful that it exists :)
  
  
  ABOUT THE VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE:
  
  We need your help with house keeping and imrovements ofthe surrounding, such as the garden, the patio, assistance in food preparation and pet care. If you know how to paint murals we also need help. The residence is very close to the school and the community is quiet.
  
  For your volunteering it is not necessary that you are a teacher or have experience as an educator if you want an educated experience in the school, it is enough that you have a spirit of service and are encouraged to contribute to different projects. If you have the practice, it would be awesome to do Vipassana meditation, yoga, Tai-Chi or a vow of silence one afternoon 🕉
  
  We need help in construction, wood management, bioconstruction, permaculture, living roofs, help to make a garden etc, too. In general many activities for make the place for the volunteer very nice and magic
  
  
  At the moment we can't offer you the food but the activities are very simple and relaxed with only 15 hours a week of collaboration.

  Camping zone and access to kitchen utensils. We Shared the bathroom
  También hay una habitación con su cama aunque permanece ocupada por los voluntarios que la reservan con tiempo
  Carpa o tienda de campaña y demás indumentaria para abrigarse. Acceso a los utensilios de la cocina. Baño compartido.

  Rest in the hammock. Read, watch a film, make a campfire, go for a walk. The area is very quiet and people like to keep it quiet. There is a camping area. I have a Swiss dog.
  I prefer vegetarian food but it won't bother me if you eat meat
  
  Reposar en la hamaca. Leer, ver un film, hacer una fogata, ir a caminar. La zona es muy tranquila y la gente gusta de mantener la tranquilidad.
  Hay zona de camping. Tengo una pastora Suiza y un gatico. Prefiero la comida vegetariana pero no me molestará si comes carne
