  Description

  Join us on a beautiful estate in Bela Krajina, approx. 5 ha and located in the middle of unspoiled nature, white birch and chestnut trees. Nearby is the river Kolpa, which can reach up to 30 degrees C in the summer months, and you can reach Croatia in less than half an hour.
  We are an elderly, couple who moved to the property 4 years ago. We have 2 bouncy kitties keeping us company. We cultivate the land in a biodynamic way and want to become largely self-sufficient. We grow seedlings ourselves, mow the grass, produce compost, clean the forest and do everything else that is needed. Apart from two kittens, there are no other animals on the property, except for the roe deer that come to graze from the nearby forest. The property is surrounded by forest on three sides.

  Help with more difficult tasks such as clearing the forest, preparing firewood, chopping branches, mowing the grass, helping with gardening would be very welcome.

  Hébergement

  Accommodation is possible in a wooden house (barn), where you will have a shared room or your own room with a comfortable mattress, and in the summer months (July, August) if the building is occupied, you can also stay in a tent. The facility also has a kitchen where you can prepare breakfast and dinner, as well as a living room.
  Lunch should be shared and prepared by the housewife or by agreement, food for breakfasts and dinners is bought by the host.

  The property is located in the small village of Mala Sela, where there are only 6 house numbers and a few cottages. A ten minute walk is the village of Adlešiči, where there is a village store, an inn and a post office. About a twenty-minute walk away is the Kolpa River, where you can swim, ride canoes or go rafting.
  In your free time, you can enjoy the beautiful nature on the property itself or ride a bicycle in all directions. A specialty of our places is the black marsh or black human fish, which lives in the underground waters of the Bela Krajina and can only survive in impeccably clean water.………
