  Description

  Hi! I am super happy mum of a gorgeous Nina (she will be 3 years in June, super funny and dynamic).
  Professionally I am mathematician, I teach online courses in mathematics and organize various NGO projects.
  
  From mid-June until mid-September we live in our summer house, in Lumbarda at the Korcula Island. Rest of the year we live in Vienna, Austria, where we also host.
  
  We live workaway concepts and philosophy fully, and so far we hosted so many nice people. Some of them came back for the second time, and we were happy to accommodate one mum who visited her daughter while she was staying with us! We really like to build true friendships with our guest. The most important for us is that we have a nice atmosphere in the house, and that you really like to spend time with a little girl. Kids are amazing, the feel if you are happy to be with them, so please apply only in case that it is really suitable for you. We would like you to feel like a guest, and so far we are succeeding in that! :)
  During the summer we prefer to host 2 people, so if you have a friend who would make a great team with you feel free to come together, also we can find second guest and connect so that you can see if you could get along well. 2 weeks is the minimal length of stay, but the longer the better, even month or two months are good for us, because Nina is small. In some periods 1 person would be fine.
  
  Accomodation: It is familly house with separate apartment at ground floor (we use that floor for our guests).
  
  
  I need help with house work approx 2h a day, and 3h with Nina (I am present all the time in the beginning, but at some point she should get trust in you and you can stay alone with her when I am in the house working). We invite positive workawayers who would enjoy to give love and attention to Nina, she will give you smiles and funny moments in return. We invite paople who really love spending time with small kids and who have experience in that.

  Nina and I are learning German at the moment, we would be happy to host German speaking people and to practice, but English is also fine. From cultural side, we will visit together Old city,exhibitions, and Fishermen's evening. We are there long time and we know all the locals, so you will get local experience. There are amazing vineyards around, closest beach is 5-10min walking distance.

  Aide

  Housekeeping, shopping, cooking and dishes up to 2h per day, sometimes it will not be need.
  Spending time with Nina (I will be around most of time) 3h. That means actively spending time with Nina. Playing, reading, drawing...whatever makes you both happy, provided she is safe. Sometimes we will be all together. Safety of child is at the very first place. Nina is very dynamic she is walking, running, climbing stairs and learning to talk, undivided attention is needed, it is lovely and fun, but demanding, it requires highest level of responsibility.

  At the moment i learn Hungarian and German language, I would be supper happy to practice both in case you know it! My English is at proficiency level, I believe we can have good conversations!

  Hébergement

  You will stay in apartment in the ground floor. There is sleeping room with huge bed, small kitchen (but we invite our guest to use together with us outdoor kitchen which is amazing made from the stone), bathroom and separate space with fridge. It is not brand new, but it is clean and decent, we used to stay there before. House is surrounded by nature, it is really amazing, and we have amazing view to the sea and mountains! Note: there are many stairs around!

  Autres infos...

  You are only 5-10 minutes walking distance from sea and beach, there are events in the centre of Lumbarda few times a week, and Old Town is 5km from us, so I belive this is a great opportunity to really have amazing cultural experience here.
