  Description

  Hello, I'm Renato, 54 years old, Brazilian. A nature lover, I work with projects and implementation of structures for natural and adventure parks, and I teach courses for working at heights, bioconstruction, and environmental impact.
  Currently, I dedicate myself mainly to the construction of this space where I live. It's located on top of a hill on a street with residences, a school, and is close to the village.
  The land on the hill favors a pleasant breeze and a view of the distant, green horizon facing the sunset. The climate is cooler and more humid than in the city.
  We hear the airplanes, the birdsong of the neighbors, and also the dogs and motorcycles... the silence of the night still predominates for most of the year. Although the land is in an urban area, there is still a nearby surrounding area with forest, and within a 10km radius there is a natural park, a dam, a quarry, fishing spots, golf, and inns. Within a 30km radius, the natural attractions increase considerably, but there is no public transport, and most involve hiring guides.
  
  The structures on the land are under construction "very slowly," I prioritize the reuse of materials, bioconstruction techniques, permaculture, but I also resort to conventional chemicals. I like to create and experiment, art, cooking, campfires, observing the stars, and life...
  I live alone, or almost, because here there are about 3 frogs, crickets, lizards... and diverse plants.
  
  The main visitor is my grandson, and when he comes, all my attention and activities are focused on the present moment with him and our games and explorations. The opossums, cats, and birds are also frequent visitors, and sometimes friends and family come.

  Atualmente me dedico principalmente para a construção deste espaço onde moro. Fica no alto do morro em uma rua com residências, escola e é perto da vila.
  O terreno no alto favorece uma brisa agradável e vista para horizonte distante, verde e voltado para o poente. o clima é mais fresco e úmido do que na cidade.
  Ouvimos os aviões, o canto das aves dos vizinhos e também dos cães e motos... o silencio da noite ainda predomina na maioria das do ano. Embora o terreno esteja em área urbana ainda existe um entorno próximo com floresta e em um raio de 10km tem parque natural, represa, pedreira, pesqueiros, golf, pousadas. em raio de trinca km aumenta bastante os atrativos naturais mas sem transporte publico e a maioria envolve contratar guias.
  As estruturas do terreno estão em construção "bem devagar" priorizo o reuso de materiais, técnicas de bioconstrução, permacultura maaasss tambem recorro aos químicos, convencionais . Gosto de criar e fazer testes, arte, culinária, fogueira observar os astros, e a vida..
  Moro sozinho. ou quase pois aqui tem uns 3 sapos, grilos, lagartixas... e plantas diversificadas.
  O principal visitante é o meu neto e quando vem a atenção e atividades é toda voltada para o presente momento com ele e nossas brincadeiras e explorações, os Gambas, gatos, pássaros também são visitas frequentes e as vezes vem os amigos e familiares.

I can tell stories, talk about projects and activities focused on nature, canyoning expeditions, as well as attractions for adventure parks, farms, etc. I have been involved for over 20 years with set design for fairs and events, "higer" structure climbing, art, carpentry, and the urban universe. I've taken courses and gained experience in engineering, architecture, park ranger work, agroforestry systems, and maritime work for tourism. Now, I've been here in this house for a little over three years. I love creating and exploring new possibilities, discussing family matters, philosophy, the world, psychology, art, occultism, architecture, the environment, astronomy, and our existence on this tiny planet Earth.

  Ja fui envolvido por mais de 20 anos com cenografia para feiras e eventos, alpinista de estruturas "higer" arte, marcenaria, universo urbano.
  Fiz cursos e tive experiencias com engenharia, arquitetura, Guarda parque "ranger" , sistemas agroflorestais. marinharia pra turismo,.. Agora mais aqui nesta casa a pouco mais de 3 anos.
  EU adoro criar e estudar novas possibilidades. conversar sobre assuntos de família, filosofia, mundo, psicologia, arte, ocultismo, arquitetura, meio ambiente, astros e sobre a nossa existência neste pequenino planeta terra.

  Activities for the Workaway traveler can vary according to my priorities at the time and their skills, interests, and willingness.
  In general, most tasks involve plants, cleaning, cooking, and anything else I can help with on a daily basis.
  There is no public service here; the entire property is 250 square meters, and most of the work I do daily involves makeup, heights, paints, chemicals... and these activities are not recommended for Workaway due to the risks and training requirements.
  
  Therefore, considering the small area of ​​250 square meters and the lack of public service, it becomes difficult for me to occupy the volunteer for 5 hours of work per day for a week. In this case, the options would be to work 3 hours a day, and we would split the cost of shopping and preparing food. Or, if the profile and time of year are suitable, 5 hours a day is fine; we follow the model, or perhaps we can invent something to do.   As atividades para o viajante workaway podem varia de acordo com as prioridades que eu vivo na época e das suas habilidades, interesses e disposição.
  No geral a maioria das ocupações são com as plantas, limpeza, culinária e no que mas puder ajudar no dia a dia.
  Aqui não existe atendimento publico o terreno todo tem 250mts2 e a maioria dos trabalhos que me dedico o dia a dia envolve maquias, altura, tintas, químicos.. e estas atividades são desaconselhadas para workaway devido aos riscos e capacitação.
  Assim e somado a pequena área com total 250mtrs2 + ausência de atendimento publico..., acaba dificil eu ocupar o voluntario por 5 horas de trabalho dia durante uma semana . Neste caso as opções seriam trabalhar 3horas dias e nós dividimos o valor da compra e o preparo dos alimentos. ou se o perfil e época for propicio as 5h dias ok seguimos o modelo ou quem sabe inventamos algo pra fazer. Se achar que este local é legal pra você de um alo que avaliamos junto as possibilidades pra época.

  The guest accommodation is in a room with a private bathroom at the back of the property, about 15 meters from the cabin I live in. When it rains, the path becomes a muddy trail.
  
  The room shares the same wall with the room in the neighboring house. Therefore, it's important to moderate noise and respect the nighttime quiet hours starting at 8:30 PM.
  
  The distance from the guest room to the house is about 15 meters, with plants, soil, or mud along the way.
  
  My house is simple, handmade with wood, everything is simple and with few finishes. In the yard, there's a shower, a green roof, a fire pit, a tent, in addition to the lake, plants, and construction sites that, depending on the season, have more or less activity and materials.
  
  The village where I live is 30 km from the city of Mogi das Cruzes, SP, about a 60-minute bus ride to the train station that connects to São Paulo. There are only about 8 bus departures a day to Mogi.
  
  The village has few shops, resources, and practically no nightlife; the bars and snack bars that exist close around 11 pm.
  
  A acomodação para os visitantes é em um quarto com banheiro privativo nos fundos do terreno e fica a uns 15 mtrs da cabana que eu habito, quando chove o caminho vira trilha com lama.
  o quarto divide a mesma parede com o quarto da casa vizinha. Ou seja é importante moderar no barulho e respeitar horário noturno de silencio a partir das 20:30h.
  
  A distancia do quarto de visitas até a casa é de uns 15mtrs com plantas ,terra ou barro no caminho .
  A minha casa é simples feita a mão com madeira, tudo simples e com poucos acabamentos. No quintal tem uma ducha, teto verde local pra fogueira, barraca, alem do composto lago, plantas e obras que dependendo da época com mais ou menos atividades e materiais.
  A vila que eu moro esta a 30 km da cidade de Mogi das Cruzes SP uns 60 mintos de ônibus para percorrer o trajeto até o trem que liga a São Paulo e são apenas uns 8 horários de ônibus por dia para para Mogi.
  A vila tem poucos comércios, recurso e praticamente não existe atividades noturna e o que existe de bar ou lanchonete fecha por volta das 23h.

There are other attractions, but you need a vehicle to get there, and they include the famous villages of Paranapiacaba and Taquaruçu. I have an old bicycle to lend.
  
  O principal passeio turísticos "do entorno" é um parque particular com rio limpo, camping e mirante. as visitas devem ser agendada e paga ingresso e guia dependendo da escolha da atividade.
  A possibilidade de caminhar pelas ruas da região onde encontrara mirantes, represa, trechos de florestas, pesqueiros, gof... Existem outros atrativos mas precisa um veiculo para chegar e inclui a famosa vila de Paranapiacaba e de Taquaruçu. tenho uma velha bicicleta para emprestar.
