Hey there! I'm incredibly passionate about anything and everything outdoors - hiking, swimming, hammocking, camping, berry picking, foraging, etc. I have a deep interest in traditional indigenous knowledge (TK), especially in application to botany and restoration ecology. As an environmental educator, it brings me insurmountable joy to share Mother Earth's knowledge with kids, young adults, etc. I always am seeking out new people, places, and the knowledge that they both bring to Earth.
I believe that open-mindedness and curiousity are the best skills an individual can have whilst traveling and working for and alongside others, and I strive to cultivate those qualities in my life everyday. I am incredibly independent, but also deeply understand and respect that no one walks upon this earth alone. True independence means establishing and cultivating sacred reciprocal relationships with those who will help you grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Beyond that, I am highly self-motivated and dedicated to serving Mother Nature in whatever way I feel called towards, and lately that has been through environmental education with local and underserved communities. I flourish in times of change, and I desire to capitalize on this period of my life to continue to grow alongside and learn from others.Interests

I have several years of experience in the restaurant industry, specifically crafting beverages (coffee & bartending). I also have been vegetarian for over a decade and have lots of experience cooking wholesome, nutritious vegetarian-based meals for me and my loved ones.
Along with that, I have lived a life immersed in the hospitality industry. Working in several restaurants and the outdoor industry has allowed me to learn how to work and live harmoniously with others, whilst simultaneously providing unique and memorable experiences for guests.
In addition, I have recieved university education and attained an undergrad degree Sustainability Studies and Environmental Education. Along with that, I have several years of experience in environmental-based work, eg. trail building, habitat restoration, environmental education and communication (leading kids and teens on outdoor excursions, teaching them about ecology, botany, outdoor ethics).
Although I don't have much experience with gardening and maintainance, I am eager to delve in and learn!Age

What else ...
Outside of my passions for the outdoors and environmental education, I love reading - specifically focused on cultural anthropology, ethnobotany, and environmental and indigenous history. Personal growth through learning is a fundamental priority of my life, and because of that I always go out of my way to meet new people, explore new places, and learn new things.
Within my passion for foraging, I am particularly curious of and interested in the study of mycology. I absolutely adore fungi and am always seeking new knowledge and experiences related to the field. Some more information
