Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We speak Spanish most of the time, but visitors speak mostly English. We have frequent visits from conservation nonprofit organizations and students from local universities doing research and community outreach. We have an ongoing monitoring program to record biodiversity in our area. We offer eco-arts practices and other training in environmental education. We grow an organic garden and offer experience in caring holistically for the garden, the different composts, and our animals. We have different eco-technologies and are constantly experimenting with new ways to be more efficient and sustainable. We welcome creative and innovative people willing to share and learn sustainable living practices!
Help
We need responsible and self-started individuals that can participate and teach/learn about general facilities maintenance, solar system care, compost toilets maintenance; forestry and organic gardening, citizen science protocols and data records systematization; marketing strategies and social media post creation; holistic care for our hens and dogs, construction and art projects. Tasks will be assigned according to current needs and candidate skills. A minimum of 5 hrs a day, 5 days a week is required for room and board.

What else ...
We are a community based on respect and tolerance, we strive to live sustainably and save our resources while minimizing our impact on Earth. We want to regenerate our soil and reforest our area, we protect the dunes around us. We treat each other kindly and expect everyone to do the same.
