Description
Hello! My name is Rhea Szarics, and I am a 28-year-old gardener and graphic designer. I grew up in Toronto, in a Hungarian family. I now live on Prince Edward Island (a tiny province on the East Coast of Canada) where I work with a number of local non-profit organizations to coordinate community gardening programs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, pursuing outdoor sports, practicing the flute, working on creative projects, spending time with friends, and volunteering in my community.

I first volunteered abroad five years ago, on a small organic farm in France. I had such a good experience, that I ended up doing nine more work exchanges before returning to Canada. Since then, volunteering and traveling have gone hand in hand for me. I've had so many wonderful opportunities to explore new places, learn more about local cultures, and meet some pretty incredible people!
