Hi! My name is Ellis and I'm looking for an opportunity to grow and experience a new culture. I recently finished my Master's of Science at the University of Calgary and have a Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia.

I am born and raised in Calgary, Alberta (Western Canada), and love sports! My favorite sport to follow is American Football, however, I played rugby throughout my schooling and my Master's looks specifically at rugby. I also love to play darts and work as a server/bartender when I can.

I was born and raised speaking English at home. Through my experience in academia, I have become a very experienced writer in various styles. My experience ranges from writing my academic thesis paper for my Master's degree to writing casual sports articles for websites.I would be more than happy to help teach English. I am also open to learning any new language, as I haven't tried learning a second language since grade school!

Over my years as a student, I have held many part-time jobs. My experience includes working as a landscaper/gardener, a barista, a customer service representative at the gymnasium on campus, and working in multiple restaurants. My favorite, and current job, is serving/bartending, which I have done for four years. I have also volunteered in animal shelters and love pets (especially cats).

I am also an experienced writer, having multiple years of academic writing which includes my Master's thesis. I have also written articles for sports websites, and I would be more than happy to share my experience and teach English.

I love my family. I have an older brother (27) who is my best friend. I also have a great relationship with my parents, and I moved back in with them for the last three years. I can't imagine life without all of them, and I can't thank them enough for supporting me.
