My name is Elena, a 26 y.o biologist from Barcelona! What brings me unmeasurable joy and motivates me the most in life is to discover new places, people and cultures, and in the process discover a new me every day and keep evolving. I believe I was born to learn and experience as much as I can, and I have made this my life's mission. Every situation you're in and every person you encounter has something to teach you, to push you towards becoming a more open and respectful human.
I find myself in a constant path of self-discovery. My enthusiasm and determination travel with me everywhere I go, and so does my young spirit. As a science and nature nerd I can only aspire to visit as many communities and environments as possible, living a conscious and sustainable life while trying to spread awareness and love for our planet.

I have several years of Hospitality experience, from hostess to waitress, from Housekeeping supervisor to (most recently) General manager at a hostel, running both Café and Reception.
I have a degree on Biology and conservation, so I feel very passionate about everything related to nature's preservation, evolution and sustainability. I started my journey as an educator and science tutor about 8 years ago, and this path has brought me even greater insights. I now believe the only way to spread real awareness, to commit and create a better future in this world is to inspire people to become the best version of themselves. That's why in the past couple of years I have got my specialization in neurobiology and psychology, with a most recent interest within the field of mental health.
I have realized that no matter what I do in life, from working as an animal rehabilitator in NGO's to working as a waitress in a lively bar, what really matters is the energy and attitude you put in it. And I believe that is my ultimate skill (besides, of course, my warmth, honesty and my great sense of humor).
