Hey everyone in the Workaway community!

I'm Lukas, and I'm really looking forward to being a part of this amazing network where people come together to share, learn, and grow. One of the things I love most about Workaway is the idea that both hosts and volunteers benefit from the experience. It's a win-win situation that creates a real sense of connection and community.

Creativity is something that's really important to me, and I'm passionate about finding ways to live more sustainably. Whether it's working on eco-friendly projects or getting involved in activities that help protect the environment, count me in!

My previous experiences with Workaway have been nothing short of incredible. From working on farms to volunteering in schools in India, I've had the opportunity to meet some truly amazing people and learn so much along the way. These experiences have shown me just how valuable the Workaway community can be, and I'm excited to be a part of it.

I can't wait to dive into more projects, meet new people, and continue to learn and grow with all of you!!!!

Let's start with the specific details. The location was a breathtaking rural oasis near Seurre. Nestled within the picturesque surroundings was a charming, expansive garden adorned with a delightful terrace, a magnificent yurt, and an ambitious food forest under development. The whole expanse provided ample space for relaxation, and I cherished the serene moments of enjoying the uniquely captivating sunsets from the hammocks each day.

As for the work, we were entrusted with small creative projects that allowed our imaginations to run wild. From adorning the yurt to crafting tents, side tables, and a rustic pallet shelf, each endeavor brought us immense joy and enriched our souls. Kevin's guidance was invaluable, always receptive to our ideas and eager to encourage us. The passion and excitement were so contagious that we sometimes willingly worked extra hours, solely because it was such an enjoyable experience. There was never any pressure; instead, Kevin consistently emphasized the importance of taking breaks and having a wonderful time. It was truly remarkable!

The atmosphere was nothing short of familial. Kevin and Tatiana exuded warmth and kindness, embracing us into their community with open arms. Within three days, we felt as though we had known each other for months! They graciously introduced us to their local connections, inviting us to partake in pottery classes, meet farmers, and stay with friends in Dijon. It was an immersion into the heart of the region's culture and people.

Communication with Kevin was flawless. He consistently checked in on our well-being and welcomed any feedback to enhance our experience. The environment he fostered made us feel at ease to share our thoughts openly, though, with Kevin's good-natured disposition, we rarely had any criticism. His personal touch meant the world to us, making the entire journey all the more memorable.

The accommodation was top-notch, thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. Sleeping in the yurt at the end was a true highlight, and the space held a special charm that enhanced our connection with the natural surroundings.

As for the food, prepare to be enchanted. Kevin and Tatiana's culinary skills are nothing short of magical. They conjured up the most delectable dishes that left us in awe.

In conclusion, our time with Kevin and Tatiana was an enchanting odyssey. It enriched our spirits, and the memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, Kevin, and thank you, Tatiana, for creating such an extraordinary experience!
