Description
We are situated on Shivalik Ranges of Pauri Garhwal district in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand, India. We are working from last 10 years to develop a sustainable ecosystem where we provide:
1. Free elementary education to students from remote Himalayan villages.
2. Grow organic produce to help local farmers.
3. Wellness services to everyone using natural/Ayurveda healing practises.
4. Indigenous Badri Cow dairy farm and dairy products.
5. Yoga and Meditation Centre.
6. Himalayan Eco Village living experience with basic infrastructure.

The Travellers will benefits in following key areas:
1) Experience of life in a remote Himalayan Village.
2) Engagement with local community and sharing key life skills.
3) Practicing Yoga and meditation in Himalayas.
4) Learn and Experience village life in Himalayan State of Uttarakhand
5) Engage in Organic and Green House Farming
6) Help develop sustainable village ecosystem
Workawayers will stay within the village with us and will participate in various activities mentioned above on daily basis. Moreover, they will be part of the family.
We expect you to be INICIATIVE move your hands and feet. We don't instruct people to do things and would like to have people here who help us to realize our ideas and thoughts because we have very limited resources.Help
We seek help from travellers in following key fields:
1. Teaching Elementary School Students (Language, Science, Maths, Life Skills).
2. Work in our organic farms and green houses.
3. Work in our Indigenous Cow Dairy Farm.
4. Work in local community to provide life skills and help educating people with livelihood skills.
5. Help with creative and sustainable ideas to develop the Himalayan village.Languages

We have two type of accommodation available currently:
1) Dormitories (5-6 People)
2) Single room (double occupancy)
3) Indian and Western Toilets
4) Community Kitchen and Dining Space
Volunteers Contribution:
Since we are going to develop a sustainable ecosystem here, if you have special skills which can add values to our initiatives, please share them with us. In order to make it a sustainable initiative, we offer free accommodation but there might be a nominal charges (2$ per day) for the food but we only ask for a max of 15 hours help per week.
The meal charges is optional and there is an option for Workawayers as well to buy and prepare their own food.What else ...
During the time off, helpers can visit nearby places like Rishikesh (Yoga Capital of the World) and other Himalayan Temples and Tourist Places. Helpers can also choose to trek, Fishing, Camping etc. based on weather conditions and availability of the facilities.
