This lovely family took me in last minute because I had troubles with a former Workaway experience on another location. I only stayed for 1 week, and I really wished I had more time to spend with them. Kathy is a kind hearted, warm person who always makes sure you are treated well. The work is really bearable and I had plenty of time to explore Vienna in my free time. I'm definitely coming back in the future:)

Lara and Nejc were great volunteers. They were always friendly and happy to help us around the farm. We are happy to recommend them for your projects! Gracias por todo la ayuda chicos! Que tengan muy buen viaje!

This was such a perfect first landing point for us in Panama. We helped out with so many tasks, building, painting, gardening, housework, cooking and hanging with their absolutely gorgeous wee man, Inti. No two days were the same, which was great! It was amazing being able to connect with all the people from different walks of life that went through and we've made some life long memories. We cannot thank you enough Carmen, Maxie and Inti for welcoming us into your home and family, we'll miss you all heaps and hopefully we can stay in touch! Much love ✌️ ❤️

Wow, my time flew by with Harry and Silvia! In the 2 weeks that I was here, I have managed to see some cool spots around Friesland, hosted and enjoyed 2 dinner parties, and made plenty of wonderful memories with other Silvia and other workawayers that I will cherish. This is all because they know how to be fantastic workaway hosts and they have the perfect system of work/fun/cultural exchange. So if you have an opportunity to be hosted by Harry and Silvia, consider yourself lucky because you will have a memorable time here. Heel hartelijk bedankt!

Sam visited our site several times and every time the interaction was really nice. He was interested, knowledgeable and willing to help and learn new things. I warmly recommend him as a WorkAwayer and looking forward to return the favor, one day.

I enjoyed my time at the Hostel. The location is great and the outside area is stunning. The tasks which had to be done in the 5 hour shift were clear and work is not to much. Verona is a great host and also flexible with the shifts if you have preferences. She also arranged my shifts so that I and another volunteer could go on trips together. But especially the other workawayers made my stay unforgettable.

My experience staying at Laurence's house was great. Laurence is a welcoming person who's easy to communicate with. She was arranging her rides to work with mine and gave me such good recommendations about the city and what to see. She's definitely the perfect person to show you around, and she's also very engaged in the community, something that I think is really a plus! She also took me to see some music, concerts, and some personal events that I really enjoyed :)

I had an amazing stay at Karin and Koos'! It was very last minute and I only stayed at their place for 6 days, but I couldn't have asked for more: since the very beginning, they were extremely welcoming, kind, sociable and trustful! Their place is simply beautiful - probably at its best in the summertime-, surrounded by nature and very close to a beautiful lake! The job consisted mainly in painting and gardening (since they have a big garden - we renovated together the vegetable garden, which was very satisfying-), mostly in the mornings and then one/one and a half hour in the afternoon. I was really independent in my own apartment, but we also had a lot of moments of sharing and chats! They also had walks with me, showed me nice places around and let me use their mountainbike! I can 100% say that I am very satisfied with every aspect of my stay at their place, it couldn't have been any better, and I very much hope we will have the chance to work together again!

It was a really nice family and really nice days. Thank you for letting me stay. They were always kind, always understanding, and accommodating to my limited English. Also, when I had to change my plans, they always asked for my understanding without forcing me to do so. I am very happy to have met them, my first host family. Thank you very much! Lastly, their town is small but really beautiful. I loved that city.

This is the best workaway I’ve done yet! Julia and Paul are such genuine and lovely people who make u feel welcomed into their home. You get amazing foods (all home cooked) like fresh quiche and lovely pastas and you really feel like part of the family. There won’t be a quite moment living out in the countryside bc if it isn’t one of their family coming round for a chat then its their friends. They have an absolutely amazing, big, white Pyrenees dog which is so friendly and fluffy and has this amazing relationship with their orange cat where they wind each other up. The work is fun and me and Paul just chatted as we worked making it a lovely environment to work in. The area is lovely and beautiful and I would definitely recommend people to come. I will come again soon!

Working alongside Lara, Mark, and their kids, helping them on their projects for their self-built house, was the best first workaway experience I could have wished for. Their patience to understand the tools and the diversity in tasks (on the house, in the house, with or for the animals) made work become pleasure. Mark and Lara are wonderfully open-minded and generous people, who’s kindness made conversations and discussions joyful and interesting, and then, the bonus, great food and board games rounded up an incredible stay.

I had a great time at Adam's place. I absolutely loved the place surrounded by a lot of nature and animals :) (The baby goats are my favorite. Never seen such friendly goats before ) Adam, Anna and Franek are so laid back and fun to be around. All of Anna's food was amazing. I felt welcomed whole time :) Thank you for great experience and memories! I'd love to come back someday :)

I spent two incredible weeks with Sonja. She is adorable and a very good cook. We also had interesting discussions and we shared excellent moments between us but also with her friends who she kindly introduced to me. The work was varied with breaks, I also had the chance to spend time with the dogs and the horses at the beach. Sonja really took care of me! I can only recommend this workaway with an humble woman, with her hand on her heart and close to her animals! It was really an amazing meeting, which made me want to volunteer more ! Thank you Sonja for everything!

Gracias chicos, ¡Gaetan y Sara!, sumaron mucho a nuestro equipo, su predisposición a ayudar llego en buen momento, la temporada alta estaba encima de nosotros. En bodega te extrañan mucho Sara, muy eficiente y rápida, Tyara te hecha mucho de menos y Gaetan ni que hablar, estuvo a la altura de los más experimentados del salón. Los recomendamos a todos los host, siempre y tengan claro todo, los chicos sumarán mucho a su equipo. Les deseamos lo mejor en su viaje, que sigan disfrutando de la aventura!

Bri was a great workawayer! She was with us for almost 5 weeks and has been very good with the guests and other volunteers. She was always approachable and down for a chat. Very hardworking and organized. She was also great with our 3 dogs. Cant reccomend her enough!

I stayed with Lenka for only 5 days, but I had such a good time there! Lenka is a very welcoming and open person. She has so much love for animals and she is ready to share it with everyone. She showed me how she works with the horses and took me to few interesting events. Thank you Lenka so much, I hope we will get to meet again!

Cómo te extrañamos aquí, no alcanzaria espacio para escribir los comentarios y buenos deseos de cada miembro de nuestro familia hacia tu persona, dejaste huella en cada uno de ellos con esa gran actitud que te caracteriza y ese sentido del humor tan latino, encajó perfecto con el nuestro. Eres el voluntario que más tiempo ha compartido con nosotros, estos 3 meses fueron muy divertidos y quedarán en nuestras memorias. Siempre dispuesto a ayudar, en colaborar con todo el equipo y con una sonrisa. A todo host, recomendamos recibir a Lorenzo, es una persona respetuosa y con mucha actitud, sumará mucho a su proyecto. Thank you so much for the 2 weeks you spent with us, Eden. You were a big help for us. We really enjoyed the perfect 'team' you formed with the two other volunteers. Thank you for your discretion and the respect of our life. And for all kinds of work so well done, with simplicity and joy, and always doing everything the best way you could, leaving everything cleaned up - well, doing everything 'until the end'. It was great to have you here - you were the best volunteers we ever hai with Amanda and Kieley!

This was our first workaway experience, we didn't know what to expect but we had a wonderful experience with Duncan, Tanya, Zeb and Lola. From the moment we arrived they made us all feel at home, what was expected was all agreed before hand on a video call. We didn't intend to stay as long as we did but found it hard to leave! We highly recommend considering a workaway here and hopefully we will return as workaways and good friends.
