  Escape the ordinary and immerse yourself in the beauty of Northland's coastal charm with our work away opportunity in Waipu, New Zealand! Dean and Debbie manage 3 lifestyle properties in Northland and are looking for assistance in gardening, general maintenance and DIY building projects.
  
  Our main property in Waipu, has a large garden with a mix of native plants, fruit trees, and vegetables. We enjoy living a natural lifestyle and love to get hands on in the garden and dreaming up new building projects. Northland is renowned for great beaches, close knit communities and laid back lifestyle. If this sounds like a fit for you we would love to hear from you.

  Come and join us in the kiwi lifestyle, in the summer there is ample opportunity to explore some of New Zealands best beaches and enjoy the great outdoors. Debbie has been gardener her whole life and practices the modality of homeopathy and bach flower essences , she loves to connect with people are share her knowledge. Dean loves to work outdoors in the garden or on building projects around the property. He makes the most of outdoor opportunities up north, he cycles, swims and is up for any chance to go on a new adventure.

  If you are a Green Thumb, help us keep our garden blooming. From planting to weeding, you'll contribute to a vibrant outdoor space that is ever-growing. We are always working on our next project so work will be varied with anything from painting to building and general maintenance.

  We have a stand alone powered cabin, a spacious bell-tent (unpowered) and a studio with sofa bed on our property in Waipu and a converted house bus in Mangawhai. Our accommodations include a double bed, and have use of bathrooms, laundry, power and wifi in main house. If studio is not being used for sleeping, this space with fridge, sink & stovetop can be used as communal workawayer area

  What else ...

  Main property is 5km from local town, can arrange any pick up or drops needed during the stay. And can pick up drop off waipu village or whangarei. We are walking distance 20 mins to Uretiti Beach great for beach walks and swimming.
  
  Basic food supplies will be provided for your breakfast and dinner, we have lunch and morning tea together during workdays.
