    Description

Located just blocks from the Pacific Ocean, it has just celebrated 20 years in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. After making Mexico our home for years, it's time for us to spend some time with our family in the U.S.

Working alongside my one locally-paid staff (Yolanda has been cleaning the hostel for me for decades), I'm looking for someone who is able to help check guests in, do some very light cleaning (Yolanda takes care of the majority of the cleaning), and look after my sweet and energetic yellow dogs Haji and Niyma plus an 18 year old cat and 8 year old cat.

We are always looking for volunteers. Our preference is for an average of one month stay.
We have hosted my people from all over the world. We are happy to put you in touch with some people as references who can speak to their time at the hostel and in Sayulita if you'd like!

    ABOUT THE HOSTEL
It is a beautiful, colorful, open-air house turned tiny hostel. It has a waterfall and plenty of trees. The house has an open air kitchen, hot water, and surf boards for guests. We're the most pet-friendly place to stay in Sayulita! There is one open air kitchen and one large kitchen in the main house. We are a 5 minute walk from the beach and a left surf break. We are just to the north of the bridge and directly in front of the sports field.

    ABOUT THE TOWN
Sayulita is a tropical fishing village and surfing mecca just a short drive north of Puerto Vallarta. It has amazing food and drink options that range from street tacos and Corona to artisanal cocktails and lobster. There is truly something for everyone in this once quaint and quiet town that is now sophisticated and high energy.
