🧡maximum stay two weeks
💛vegetarian (no meat)
After traveling in Australia for two years in the name of permaculture, I recently started taking care of my land in Italy with the skills I learnt in various farms there and in Europe, going from a workaway to another!
My aim is mainly to become self sufficient with food, and to live off-grid.
At the moment I have a yurt where you will sleep, and a teepee with a kitchen stove where you can experience cooking in nature, or in the house above the restaurant (where I am living now) we can eat together and share new recipes:)
Chickens are the heart of my land, giving manure, making compost & yummy eggs to eat.
There is free water from the dwell and a home garden is (slowly) growing.
Generally the biggest help is with animals, chickens, cats, fish tank and in the near future I am planning on having a milking cow; also the garden always needs weeding & watering. To make sure you went through my profile please write in the beginning of your request the word “Nazario” so that I’ll know you are really interested in my project.
It would also be super helpful if you knew how to do one or more of this things:
-cut trees
-make fences
-grow veggies naturally
-working with bees (I have some)
-working wood
-know edible weeds and using them
-cook interesting recipes
-building chicken coops/structures
-grass cutting (a looooot)
-solar/ecologic shower
& really anything that will be useful for a better future in harmony with nature ;)

Polenta is a very small village but I do believe it is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
It is where my grandparents realized their dreams and I hope to do the same.
Being a tiny “borgo” it is not well connected, so you need your own transportation if you wanna go somewhere else, otherwise we can go together when I am not working.
Nearest big town is 15 min by car (Cesena)

Next to it you have the teepee, where you can cook a meal hearing bird sounds!
The toilet is a compost toilet & the shower is a classic one, but the shower is for now in another building (200 meters from the yurt) although I am planning on having a solar shower.
