The project has as its main objective the conservation of the environment, flora and fauna, through the integration of permaculture and art.
We have 2 collaborators in the park, with whom you can advise on any specific situation.
Regarding environmental conservation, the project implements sustainable practices that are respectful of the natural environment. They use permaculture techniques to create farming and farming systems that are efficient, regenerative, and in harmony with nature. This implies the use of techniques such as composting, water recycling, soil conservation and biodiversity, among others. They also focus on the conservation of natural resources, promoting the responsible use of energy, proper waste management, and the protection of local ecosystems.
In addition, the project integrates art into its conservation project. They recognize the power of art as a tool to generate awareness and connection with nature. Through art exhibitions, workshops and creative activities, they seek to inspire people to appreciate and value the environment, promoting the importance of its conservation. Art becomes a form of expression that allows the transmission of messages and emotions related to the beauty and fragility of nature, generating a positive impact on environmental awareness.
In summary, the project focuses on the conservation of the environment, flora and fauna, through the implementation of permaculture practices and the integration of art. Through these initiatives, they seek to promote sustainability, connection with nature and environmental awareness, thus contributing to the protection and preservation of the natural environment.

En cuanto a la conservación del medio ambiente, el proyecto implementa prácticas sostenibles y respetuosas con el entorno natural. Utilizan técnicas de permacultura para crear sistemas agrícolas y de cultivo que sean eficientes, regenerativos y en armonía con la naturaleza. Esto implica el uso de técnicas como la compostaje, el reciclaje de agua, la conservación del suelo y la biodiversidad, entre otros. También se enfocan en la conservación de los recursos naturales, promoviendo el uso responsable de la energía, la gestión adecuada de los residuos y la protección de los ecosistemas locales.
Además, integra el arte en su proyecto de conservación. Reconocen el poder del arte como una herramienta para generar conciencia y conexión con la naturaleza. A través de exhibiciones de arte, talleres y actividades creativas, buscan inspirar a las personas a apreciar y valorar el medio ambiente, promoviendo la importancia de su conservación. El arte se convierte en una forma de expresión que permite transmitir mensajes y emociones relacionados con la belleza y fragilidad de la naturaleza, generando un impacto positivo en la conciencia ambiental.

The natural park located in San Ramón de Alajuela, on the way to La Fortuna, is a magical place where you can appreciate a great variety of sculptures as well as many species of wild flora and fauna.
The trails in the forest take you on a tour so that you can observe all the details of nature. A place where art and nature come together to create a unique experience. In addition, it has guides that will give you information and answer questions about the different works of art and natural elements in the park. In summary, it is an exceptional natural artistic park that you cannot miss if you are in the San Ramón de Alajuela area.
El parque natural ubicado en San Ramón de Alajuela, camino a La Fortuna, es un lugar mágico donde puedes apreciar una gran variedad de esculturas asi como tambien muchas especies de flora y fauna salvaje.
Los senderos en el bosque te llevan en un recorrido para que puedas observar todos los detalles de la naturaleza. Un lugar donde el arte y la naturaleza se unen para crear una experiencia única. Además, cuenta con guías que te darán información y responderán preguntas sobre las diferentes obras de arte y elementos naturales en el parque. En resumen, es un parque artístico natural excepcional que no te puedes perder si estás en la zona de San Ramón de Alajuela.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in planting and caring for native trees, cleaning and maintaining trails, observing and recording flora and fauna species, and many other activities related to environmental protection. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and meet people from all over the world who are interested in nature conservation.
This program also encourages the participation of local and national artists to create murals and sculptures that represent the the beauty of the indigenous culture of Costa Rica.
At this place we are looking for volunteers who are passionate about the environment and the conservation of biodiversity through permaculture and even art, to join their team. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work on the planting and care of native plants, the cleaning and maintenance of trails, the observation and recording of flora and fauna species, and other activities related to environmental protection.
Como voluntario, tendrás la oportunidad de colaborar en la siembra y cuidado de árboles nativos, la limpieza y mantenimiento de senderos, la observación y registro de especies de flora y fauna, y muchas otras actividades relacionadas con la protección del medio ambiente. Además, tendrás la oportunidad de aprender de expertos en la materia y conocer gente de todo el mundo interesada en la conservación de la naturaleza.
Este programa también fomenta la participación de artistas locales y nacionales para la creación de murales y esculturas que representen la belleza de la cultura indígena de Costa Rica.
Estamos buscando voluntarios apasionados por el medio ambiente y la conservación de la biodiversidad por medio de la permacultura e incluso el arte, para unirse a su equipo. Como voluntario, tendrás la oportunidad trabajar en la siembra y cuidado de plantas nativas, la limpieza y mantenimiento de senderos, la observación y registro de especies de flora y fauna, y otras actividades relacionadas con la protección del medio ambiente.

Accommodation
The place offers several accommodation options to meet your needs. First of all, they have shared rooms, where you can share the space with other guests. These rooms are ideal if you are looking for a social experience and they also have team rooms, designed specifically for groups traveling together. These rooms offer additional amenities and ample space to accommodate all team members. If you prefer more privacy, the place offers private rooms. These rooms give you a quiet, personal space to relax after a day of work or exploration. Also, if you enjoy nature and want to live a more adventurous experience, the place also has camping options. You will be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings while camping in a safe and comfortable environment. Regarding working hours, the shift goes from 7 am to 12 noon. During this time, 3 meals are offered. These meals are included in the accommodation.

En cuanto a los horarios laborales, el turno va de 7 am a 12 medio día. Durante este tiempo, se ofrecen 3 comidas. Estas comidas están incluidas en el alojamiento.

At this place, volunteers have the opportunity to carry out various activities during their work shift. After completing their assigned turn, they have the flexibility to explore and enjoy their surroundings. One of the options is to visit "La Fortuna", one of the main tourist attractions in Costa Rica. There they will be able to marvel at the imposing beauty of the Arenal Volcano, relax in natural hot springs, admire beautiful waterfalls and participate in exciting outdoor activities such as hiking, canopy and boating.
In addition, volunteers can also take advantage of their free time to explore the surroundings of San Ramón de Alajuela. This charming city offers a mix of culture, history and natural beauty. They will be able to visit colonial churches, visit the local markets, enjoy beautiful mountainous landscapes and learn about the kindness of its people.
Within the place, volunteers can enter the cloud forests to observe the diversity of flora and fauna species. They will be able to enjoy hiking along trails, bird watching, plant identification and learn about the importance of conserving these ecosystems.
Finally, they cannot stop trying the typical dishes of Costa Rica. In the town of San Ramon, a variety of delicious typical local gastronomic options will be offered so that international travelers can experience and enjoy the authentic flavors of the region.
Aquí, los voluntarios tienen la oportunidad de realizar diversas actividades durante su turno laboral. Luego de cumplir con su turno asignado, tienen la flexibilidad de explorar y disfrutar de los alrededores.
Una de las opciones es visitar "La Fortuna", uno de los principales atractivos turísticos de Costa Rica. Allí podrán maravillarse con la imponente belleza del Volcán Arenal, relajarse en aguas termales naturales, admirar hermosas cascadas y participar en emocionantes actividades al aire libre como senderismo, canopy y paseos en bote.
Además, los voluntarios también pueden aprovechar su tiempo libre para explorar los alrededores de San Ramón de Alajuela. Esta encantadora ciudad ofrece una mezcla de cultura, historia y belleza natural. Podrán visitar iglesias coloniales, recorrer los mercados locales, disfrutar de hermosos paisajes montañosos y conocer la amabilidad de su gente.
Dentro del lugar, los voluntarios pueden adentrarse en los bosques nubosos para observar la diversidad de especies de flora y fauna. Podrán disfrutar de caminatas por senderos, avistamiento de aves, identificación de plantas y aprender sobre la importancia de la conservación de estos ecosistemas.
Finalmente, no pueden dejar de probar los platillos típicos de Costa Rica. En la localidad de San Ramon se ofrecerá una variedad de deliciosas opciones gastronómicas típicas locales para que los viajeros internacionales puedan experimentar y disfrutar los sabores auténticos de la región.
