Description
We are a family owned and operated cow calf ranch located in beautiful northern British Columbia, Canada. The closest town is Fort St. John, BC and it's about a 30-minute drive to the ranch. We calve around 120 head starting mid-January till the end of March. Our ranch is run by myself and my husband as well as my daughter her husband and their 4-year-old daughter. The men have off farm job's so majority of the work is done by myself and my daughter. Me and my husband have Simmental red angus cross cattle and my daughter, and her husband run Speckle Park cattle.
We do have horse's, but we do not use them for calving, but you are more than welcome to ride for pleasure or if we have to move cows.
Other pets on the ranch include, dogs (inside and outside), cats (outside), and chickens.Types of help and learning opportunities
