    Description

I live on a 5 acre organic farm that's about 40 km away from Salem town in Tamilnadu. We use permaculture principles and also have partially implemented syntropic agriculture to create a young fruit forest. This is primarily a gooseberry farm, with a small areca nut plantation intercropped with turmeric. We also cultivate corn as feed for our 200 or so free range country chickens, so there are plenty of fresh eggs.

As I plan to travel for a while I'm searching for a nature/animal lover who can help with taking care of the chickens and small tasks on the farm. Aside of perhaps 2 hours a day maximum, your time will be your own. There's a vegetable garden where you are welcome to grow/harvest fresh organic produce for your self. You will be responsible for your own food and can cook it in a small kitchen. The surrounding area is very calm and peaceful and is ideal for those who want a serene place to stay amidst nature.

In the long run - we are constructing some guesthouses to implement a farm stay income model and anybody who has any experience laying floor tiles would be very welcome.
