Gasper fitted in well with my flatmates. I had to go away for most of the time he was here. I left a list of jobs he could work his way through at his own pace. Was more than happy with what he got done while I was away and the great job he did. He got to meet some of the locals at the local golf course as well. Thank you so much for all the work you did and sorry I didn't get to spend very much time with you. Enjoy the rest of your travels.

So enjoyed the company of these lovely ladies. Helped me with my wee dog Dottie and also took Shelbe (dog) for walks as well. Got stuck into any of the jobs I gave them. Weeding and planting bulbs and helping me do some gardening at a local winery. Great to have round the house. Sent them off up to a friends for opening morning for Duck Shooting and they enjoyed themselves. Was more than happy to take them back to Queenstown on the way to pick up another couple. Hope you enjoy the rest of your travels and your both welcome back in the future.

The property is on the edge of the beautiful Turkish countryside. This place has lots of potential to be a happening place with lots of heart.

Yvette was really kind and generous. We really enjoyed our time together, taking care of the chickens, planting and harvesting vegetables, etc. Living off the grid was a great experience for us, and the nature and scenery around the house was amazing. We had some really unique & interesting conversations, sharing our views of the world – whilst playing board games by the fire. Yvette's cooking was very tasty. Would love to meet again. If you come during colder months, take extra layers with you. It gets cold up the hill.

Nicola is a very interesting person, he has traveled to over 60 countries, his story surprised me, I loved his curiosity and his desire to learn 2 more languages! (In addition to the ones he already knows!). I was hosted for about two weeks, two weeks where I was offered so many comforts and experiences that I really appreciated. She helped me a lot with my English and the more motivated I was, the more she wanted to help me. I was very pleased to know your story and to have learned together many new steps of Salsa and Bachata! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness Nicola!

Alex and Vika are great volunteers, they helped us a lot and are very responsible with their tasks. We’re glad they could join us and would definitely recommend them to other hosts!

For our first workaway experience, Louise & Alan were the best hosts we could ever hope for. They made us feel welcome and we immediately felt at home. They were both kind, thoughtful and generous. We really enjoyed working alongside them, and the variety of tasks was greatly appreciated too. Louise’s cooking was excellent. We loved sharing views on different topics, playing games and learning how to play the ukulele. Both are very interesting and genuine people. We would love to meet again soon.

I spent a month with this family, everything went great: a simple interesting job, delicious food, interesting trips. I have improved my English and updated my knowledge of farming. Thanks!

Iancu is easy to live with, friendly and a completely trustworthy person, with very good working ethics and reliable. He did jobs im sure he had never done before but took them in his stride and never complained. Highly recommended to any workaway host.

Carl is very funny and was amazing, he helped with many tasks and put a lot of effort into some very physical things. He was using the strimmer/weedwacker a lot and made a great job, he helped me and another volunteer building some things as we prepared for the season. Thanks for all your help 👍 Recommend 👍

Aurélien stayed with me for 2+ weeks and was a massive help in many ways. He is timely, listens very well, understands completely and was the backbone of many team jobs. Besides being extremely fit and a huge help physically, he is also a low key genius when it comes to computers, websites, and social media! (techy stuff) We had some great chats about life and it shows that he is a smart young man with ambition and drive to be successful. I'd absolutely without a doubt recommend Aurélien's skills to any host!

This is such a good project and I loved to see how creative environmental education can be. Mike and his team are incredibly friendly and I loved playing games or having food with them. I was able to try different kinds of jobs, based on my skills, so I spent time with the kids, but also taught english to the staff members. This felt really flexible. The bamboo huts are also great for staying in, but there is no wifi in the private areas, so it was really hard to seperate work and free-time, because it was only possible to make calls in the office, food area or work space. This and the cultural difference were a problem during my stay, but we solved it with a long evening talk about cultures and expectations, which felt really good. It also sounded like they appreciated this feedback a lot and maybe it is gonna change for the next volunteers. I am really grateful for the time I spent here.

Leoni is lovely, very sweet and helpful, she did a lot of different things but was mainly helping in the garden, with other volunteers she was helping get everything ready for the start of the season and her help was greatly appreciated. Hello Floriane, how are you doing? It was nice expérience to have you here at the school in muke Village, you have been doing a great job for the kids. And we realy appriciats for the great job of openning the fundraise for the school and remember us everywere you go. We thank you 💞 you were so nice 👌 and the People in the village really like you and miss you. Keep on doing the same things. You were the first volunteer teacher to open grade one class in muke Village we are not going to forget you you showed the love 💘💕 both to my family and the community. I spent two weeks volunteering and I didn't want to leave! If you like dogs this is your chance to help them and live with them. Ala and Lyndon were great and made the stay very comfortable. I will miss sleeping with the puppies, feeding the dogs and cats every day, talking to Lyndon the son, spending time in the shelter with the dogs..... without a doubt one of the best volunteering I have ever done!!!! Pd: the only thing I won't miss will be the philippine shower hahaha.

Like a family! All the team are extraordinary. They give you freedom to create and participate in the projects that you want for the community. Guys are very hard workers and friendly, and eva is a perfect anfitrion, always smily and ready to help you with anything. During our days off we did trips toguether and had a lot of fun. Environment is so beautiful. İts a bit hot but finally you get used to it. İts perfect to detox from the chaos of the cities.

Upon my return from my first workaway experience in Portugal with Janet last night, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the invaluable teachings, kindness, respect, and understanding I received from Janet and her three affectionate dogs. This workaway was a cultural immersion and a character development journey that I will hold dear for the rest of my life. I am eager to reciprocate the kindness and teachings I received from Janet, and I hope to visit her in the future and stay in touch, as I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful friend and mentor. By the way, the pictures on Janet's profile are old, and the property is stunning and has received much love over the years. P.S. Janet is a fantastic cook; she sure spoiled me.

Maria.....un soggiorno breve ma intenso!!una grande lavoratrice sempre sorridente e disponibile...ha lavorato in maniera indipendente pulendo il boschetto dai sassi e dai rami,sempre pronta ad aiutare in casa e in cucina!!la sua tortillas è fantastica (una ricetta segreta che ha bisogno di una lunga cottura). Fa dei bellissimi lavori con l' uncinetto ed è una buona compagnia nel girovagare con gli amici!! Ti aspettiamo a braccia aperte

Stien was an absolute pleasure to host she is a very good worker who listens to instructions carefully and carries them out to the full. Stien has a great personality and humour we had some good laughs together. Toni and i cannot recommend Stien enough as we know you would not be disappointed. We wish Stien the best with the rest of her time in Australia and when returns to her homeland, and sincerely hope to Stien again in Tassie.

Being a volunteer at Eliana’s house was one of my best experiences. The work is varied and depends on the needs of the moment. In my case, I went through sewing, painting and even cutting grass. Eliana explains everything to you and you just need to have a little practical sense. The house is very pleasant immersed in nature and allows you to take beautiful walks in the company of Dino of course🐕. You will be 20 minutes by car from Matera but Eliana goes there very regularly so no problem dropping you off there. Always good advice, very good company, you will not miss anything. I can only recommend that you stop here for your next volunteering and enjoy!
