Beschreibung
We are a professional couple residing in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. Langley is the Horse Capital of BC. Our idyllic property consists of hay meadows, open pastures, woods, streams and much wildlife. Looking East you will see a commanding view of Mount Baker, located in Washington State, USA. We grow our own seasonal organic vegetables and fruits. We work hard, but we also enjoy a healthy lifestyle and good company!
On our property there are large dogs and horses.
Whilst located in a rural setting all amenities are close by,

Arbeit
PAID POSTION - 6 hours day, 5 days week. BC minimum wage 16.75 hr.
Must possess a valid minimum 6 month Canadian Work Permit.
Accomodation provided. Excellent references required.
We are seeking an experienced farmhand to join our non-commercial farm. A minimum of 2 years farming experience required. Must be proficient in the operation of farm machinery/equipment with a mechanical aptitude, and equine management/healthcare knowledge.
Depending on Season: Horse & dog care, planting, weeding, harvesting, pruning, landscaping, clearing trails etc.
Only those persons who are upbeat, passionate about animals, flexible, self-motivated, independent, physically fit, respectful of boundaries and enjoy being outside in ALL weather conditions need apply.

We are 10 mins DRIVE to all amenities, USA border, 15 mins to downtown Langley, 20 mins to White Rock, 45 mins to Vancouver, 2.5 hours to Mount Baker, 2.5 hours to Whistler. You can hike, go to the beach, swim, golf, or ski at the world class Whistler Resort or local ski hills!
Public transportation 20 mins walk, bus every 30 mins.
