Once in Sogamoso, a taxi from the bus terminal will cost around $4,000, or the local bus heading to Aquitania runs straight past the finca, keep a look out for the finca´s white archway. Otherwise you can also mail or call and we will try to pick you up from the bus terminal.

We need max. four volunteers who would like to come and stay with us with free accommodation including breakfast, in exchange of some work as gardener, watering the plants, General maintainer, builder, taking care of animals, cleaner, Farmer, helper in the house, , help with eco projects, animal care or art project,....
We also need volunteers who could help us with marketing the hostel for backpacking travellers and the Yoga school, we have on the farm,....
For this initially we expect around 4 hours of work, in exchange for what we offer.

We expect volunteers to come with enthusiasm and positive attitude into what they will be doing and who want to take their work as volunteers seriously and as their main priority, while staying here.

Please send your application with complete information about yourself, with at least three photos of you that can also allow us to know you better through images.
Let us know, as a volunteer, what you would like to do the most here at the farm, when more or less, you would like to start and for how long,...
We prefer aplications of volunteers who will be willing to stay at least one month.

Once you will be accepted and we set up a date for you to come, take into account, that we still would like you to have a three days trial period, just for your safe and ours, to make sure everything is fine, making sure that you happily want to stay longer, and we happily would like you to stay longer....
Then after, you might like to stay just for few weeks, months, years, or may be for good, you never know what will be next,...

We will also prefer much more, if volunteers can come first as normal paying guests at the hostel, for lets say max. three nights, staying in a dormitory, $25.000 per night including breakfast. This is to first give volunteer enough time to become familiar with everything and everyone, know the region, get to know each other better, and also to be able to introduce volunteers better, not only to this proyect, but also to other 3 proyects we have for volunteers, that might also be interesting for them, in case you don`t like this one, when you come.
This way is much more easy, fast and safe for both.

English and Spanish

Initially for the three days trial period, we can provide a small but comfortable room for two, with a small but private bathroom and shower,... That comes with breakfast that we might make for you or you can help yourself... After the three days trial period, we might keep the same offer or we might change it for a better one, depending on what you´ve got to offer in exchange. We will see. At that time we should be able to evaluate those first three days and then get into a final agreement for the time to come. The idea is to make as much as possible, a permanent fare and harmonious balance beetween giving and receiving and that everyone can be happy with that. Still we are always open to hear new ideas to make things better. Clear, sincere, friendly and warm communication is very importat for us and hope you help to make it that way.

Volunteers can do a lot in their time off, like do Yoga, trekking, go to thermal pools, bike, visit the amaizing colonial towns, read, dance, etc.
This region is simply spectacular and has a lot to offer to the visitors
