Marie was one of the best Workaway volunteers we have had. She was extremely helpful with my wife who needs constant company which allowed me time to rest and have time out. Marie also cooked most nights and helped out in numerous ways. She was sensitive to quite a difficult situation as well as having lots of initiative. It was great to have

I stayed with Meredith and Robb for 3 weeks, and the stay went well!
I stayed in a nice caravan in the woods, it was comfortable.
Meredith is a lovely person, funny, and good company. it is not possible to have a conversation but we shared moments of complicity (dancing, laughing, walks, etc.).
Robb is very welcoming, patient, and enjoys

the job is to stay with Meredith and take care of her when Robb is busy, helping with house maintenance , cooking or gardening. Tasks are interspersed with coffee or tea breaks!
their house is quite isolated but it's easy to travel to Cork or Killarney to visit on break days. Meredith and Robb like to go on adventures to visit beautiful places.

Maria was an excellent Workaway helper. She helped me reorganise and declutter the house and organise a new system for all our recycling . She also helped redecorate and spring clean the entire house. She was also very kind and patient with my wife who has dementia and her upbeat personality helped my wife a lot. Our conversations were, I believe, extremely healing and insightful on both sides and I am very grateful to Robb for everything i learned (thanks a million for the accurate channeling)! Meredith may not be able to take part in conversations like she used to, but she shines with her grand sense of humour, her singing voice, her very own charm and her passion for drawing. Watching her colouring was like a meditation for me and i joined her from time to time. The campervan i stayed in was very cozy and i loved the feeling of having my own little space directly in the forest <3. My duties were flexible but they included for example being a companion to Meredith, taking her for a swim, walking or coffee, then gardening, general housework such as cooking and washing up. I also had a lot of fun repainting the bathroom and living area and was always amazed at how grateful they both were for everything I could do. You guys are really dear to me and I'm happy to be able to see you for a few more weeks in October! I recommend this place to everyone who would like to learn more about themselves, be more in the present moment, receive warmth from "strangers" and being a real help for somebody who so deeply deserves it. I had a wonderful 3 weeks with robb and meredith.
Where I could improve my English talking a lot with robb and watching tv series with them.
I was able to dedicate time to myself and to sleep.
Meredith is a silent person but she lets herself be loved and shows her honey .
I did some gardening work but mostly I kept Meredith company and took

Robb is a kind, thoughtful man, you can talk to him about anything.
The work is very flexible, there are more intense days and quieter days, but there is excellent dialogue.
sometimes we take trips to beautiful places in Ireland and roob knows where to take you to show you around.

Roger was an excellent volunteer able to help out with great initiative. He is also very sympathetic and sensitive to my wife’s condition adaptable and very easy to spend time with.I highly recommend him.
