    Description

    Hello everyone,
I live on an animal welfare farm.
The farm family currently consists of about 50 chickens and roosters, dogs, cats, mini pigs, goats, donkeys, horses, cows, sheep, geese, ducks, turkeys and guinea fowl, as well as human(s) and occasionally a child.
In 2010 everything started with the takeover of the farm. Some animals could be taken over from the previous owner. Little by little, more animals were added from animal welfare or animal protection reasons.
We live in a rural area (the next small town is about 9km away) surrounded by fields and forests. Here you can take long walks and let your soul dangle. Day trips to Berlin and Dresden are possible.
There are many possibilities for you to support me here. I respect your interests and abilities and take into account any fears you may have (e.g. horses, pigs). I am grateful for any help such as walking the dogs/donkeys/goats, engaging with the animals, controlling the behavior of the animals among themselves, as well as mucking out the barn areas and feeding. Sometimes sick animals or special cases need to be taken care of.
In addition, help can be given on the farm, in the vegetable garden, possibly with childcare, cooking and normal household activities or small repair work.
It would be great if someone is handicraft talented or gets ideas in the daily work what can be improved here.
After a short time you will notice: Every day brings new tasks and challenges. You don't need any special previous knowledge, but a good portion of attention and acceptance for animals are an advantage.
I am on my way to live vegan. However, I do eat the eggs from the farm chickens. If you want to eat meat, you are welcome to prepare it yourself.
If you would like to support the farm, please plan at least two weeks for your stay, as it will take a few days to explain and show everything needed.

We look forward to seeing you!

    Hallo zusammen,
