  • Description

    Hey!

My name is Anika. Welcome to my profile :)

Here are some characteristics about myself that I like to contribute:

    💠 mindful/attentive, careful & sensitive
    💠 respectful, trustful & responsibly
    💠 structured, forward-looking & precise
💠 different thinking, varied & individual
    💠 tidily & cleanly

The way you will experience me depends primarily on the respective situation. In new situations I am often calm, insecure & cautious.

Being physically active and in good company, I like as well as needing a quiet retreat and spending time alone.

I quit my safe job and my beautiful apartment at the end of 2023 to learn from life as a workawayer.

I was already able to experience the biggest mind-shift's and life-changer through an unfamiliar environment, by stepping out of my comfort zone and being confronted with fears and unpleasant feelings. I experienced that e.g., by traveling alone in foreign countries. And I can only guess what else life has to offer.

I am really interested to get different thinking people and other cultures to know in a much more authentic and true way, that you are able to as a normal “holiday-traveler”.

I have mainly three big points of interest fields (this is no ranking):

    🧡 independent and sustainable lifestyle

💚 health issues and spirituality - e.g. anything about emotions and feelings, breathwork, cold therapy, (wild) herbs, shamanism, men/women-energy, yoga, intuitive movements & dance, hypnosis, therapeutic fasting, meditation, silence, embodiment ...

💜 being in a natural, respectful contact with animals

In 2022 I organized small events with my soulmate, which are about breaking out of your own habits through mindfulness and moving from thinking to feeling. I have also created my own website to help people question their own perspectives and lead a freer, more self-determined life. On the homepage you will also find further personal information about me. If you like to, feel free to browse at www.s-h-i-f-t.de (I hope the translator is going to do a good job...)

I'll start my journey through Europe at spring 2024 by car.

My English-knowledge is intermediate til fluent and I'm glad to improve it while traveling.

  • More details about your skills

    SOFT SKILLS:

As a mindful, highly sensitive person who values honesty, I have already had profound experiences in dealing with one another in an appreciative and respectful manner.

In the area of personal development, I have tried various tools on my own responsibility, read many books, created my own website (www.s-h-i-f-t.de) and have gone through intensive and constant development.

    GARDENING & ANIMAL CARE:

For 4 years I am planting on my roof-terrace a few vegetables for my own use.

In 2022 I worked for two weeks at an animal welfare farm in Germany. Here I learned a lot. In general, I often experienced intensive and caring contact with different animals. And I want to know a lot more about them. What will always help me is my careful and respectful treatment of animals. Anyway...For the contact with animals I see myself still at the beginning.

    HELPING AROUND THE HOUSE:

Since I was a teenager I cooked and baked for myself, sometimes for family or friends and I enjoy it. In the kitchen I also like to experiment with new things. I am a clean person, so for me it's normal to tidy up, clean the kitchen after using and stuff like that.

    ART PROJECTS:

Especially within the framework of the events I offer - which were my heart projects together with the website - I was able to experience myself in various creative processes, such as designing the homepage, flyers and posters. Being creative is just as much fun for me as it grounds me. For being creative I need the right environment (in and out).

    BUILDING:

Building is something I have not that much experience, but I'ld like to learn here some generally things. For example, I started sawing up pallets to make wood for the stove. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, I'll just need detailed instructions on the most things, so we'll have to see, if I'm more a help or more a ballast. :)

    HELPING WITH COMPUTERS:

Honestly I had an office job most of my life sitting in front of a computer. And I really don't want to spent much time with that. If I can help you with little things at the computer, it's fine. But I usually want to work something more active and in nature.

    ELSE:

I’ve got a talent for organizing and optimizing processes.

  • What else ...

When I announce these big changes in my life to others, people sometimes react with the words "I hope you find what you're looking for." These words irritated me, so I took a closer look and my answer is: I'm not searching. My decision to travel around as a workawayer is my very personal declaration of love for life.
