Area: WalesWe are a mature family who enjoy hosting foreign visitors. My name is Rachel and I am a 51 year old science teacher (Biology). My husband is a University Professor, who will retire in the next couple of years. We also have have three adult (22 to 17) who may be around when you come although my younger son found this site as he wants to work away, so hopefully he will be off travelling. My husband's father also lives with us and he is amazingly good company (95 years). We have many pets including 3 dogs and 3 cats, which all have the run of the house but no livestock.
Area: AlgarveWe are a family of three (Christin, Anton & 6-year old Matthew). We are trying to "keep the dream alive" of living in the Algarve and enjoying this beautiful and peaceful place. We have started a small tourism business near Aljezur offering accomodation, jeep tours, bike tours & rental, walking tours and surfboard/wetsuit hire. We are therefore looking for help in various areas of our everyday lives and need people/couples to apply for volunteering with us. Ideally volunteers will need to be 25 years or older and pretty fit as we may need you to do manual work or join in on tours such as bicycle or walking. The age is important as you may be required to drive a car.
Area: Languedoc RoussillonThank you for your interest in joining us. We are nearly full up for the summer now, but still have space for one volunteer from 25th August for two weeks. If this fits with your plans, and you're happy to help with the work described below, then do get in touch. Hello, we are Ruth and Peter (plus our 6 cats, 3 chickens and 2 guinea-pigs). We moved 18 months ago into a lovely house with 6.5 acres of park and woodland in the Languedoc. Our aim is to turn it into an inspirational example of sustainable, abundant living. We are creating an organic kitchen garden, planting fruit trees, keeping chickens, building a compost loo for camping, and constructing a small "eco-glamping" site in the meadow. Over the summer we have a small number of bed-and-breakfast guests staying, and also let out a self-catering studio apartment. If you would like to be part of this experiment in sustainable living, and are happy to help with looking after the organic garden, doing practical projects, helping with cleaning and laundry for guest change-overs, and generally creating and maintaining a beautiful environment, then we can offer a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and vegetarian food in beautiful surroundings in exchange for about 5 hours' work a day, (2 days a week free). We are an English-speaking household, although we can also speak French, German and Swedish. If you are interested in joining us, please let us know why you would like to volunteer here, and what skills/ideas/enthusiasm you think you could bring. We look forward to hearing from you!

Area: Buenos AiresWe have been in business for more than 4 years working on introducing Polo as a MUST-DO activity for people visiting our country in Argentina. We invite guests to spend a day in the countryside to watch a polo game, enjoy a traditional “asado” (barbeque), and take a horseback ride or an initial polo lesson ("stick and ball"). Polo Day is available every day and is located in Pilar, 50 minutes away from the city of Buenos Aires. We became top attraction in a very short period of time. It is a family-run business and professionalism, friendly atmosphere and passion for horses are our key for success.
