Hi There, Simon & I run a Surf School and surf tours business as well as an internet business. We live on a beautiful property in Ngunguru, that we have the pleasure of sharing with great friends/family of ours, a Great Dane, Jack Russell & a cat. The property has it's own private beach, and spectacular views out on to the beautiful Tutukaka Coast. The Tutukaka Coast has many lovely beaches, wildlife, great diving with the Poor Knights and much more. It was rated by National Geographic Traveller Magazine in the top 2 coastal destinations worldwide.

Area: Bay of Plenty

My husband & I have 3 adult children no longer living at home. We have hosted exchange students for the last 5 years and currently have a boy from Japan. We have a house by the beach and 30 acres of land further up the coast going inland. This piece of land needs weed control and some fencing. It is our lifestyle block and we run some sheep and cattle on it. Our son & his fiance are getting married in March on this land and we could do with a hand to tidy it up.There is a lovely little batch on the land which has no electricity but a wood stove. It also has a flush toilet, shower with hot water, sleeping and cooking facilities. We stay there from time to time but it can be difficult to reach when it has been raining. We live in a an old 4bedroom villa which we are still renovating. My husband buys possum fur but is also a builder/handyman. I am a nurse working at the local health centre. I do shift work and sometimes work night duty which means I sleep in the daytime. The internet can be accessed by wireless broadband. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. The dogs live outside but the cats like to snuggle up with the humans. We are non smokers and would only want non smokers please.

Capable, cheerful, friendly singles or couple to assist around busy station, homestead & garden with small farm stay adjoining. Need help currently around homestead & garden - hedging, mulching garden beds, cleaning etc. so couple or strong, practical single welcome. Our station is situated on the edge of the famous Hay Plains between Griffith & Hay in Western NSW farming cotton, rice & Merino sheep. Very good clean accommodation offered in fully furnished house adjacent to homestead. We welcome visitors as part of our family. Meals with home grown food are enjoyed by helpers with our family. We work around your talents too so if you are a good painter we do painting or if you are a builder we can do maintenance. Pool & tennis court set in beautiful gardens - for your enjoyment. Helpers must speak English. Would especially like to host French travellers.

I am an Australian who has lived in New Zealand for the last 32 years. My wife is a Fijian and we share parenting duties with my wife's extended family (the Fijian way), so we usually have one or two kids in our house. We also own a small farm which we are in the process of developing (see below for more details). We are both smokers and I enjoy a beer socially and a bowl of kava (traditional Fijian herbal beverage). We are not vegetarian, we eat traditional Fijian and Indian cuisine, but vegetarians are welcome.

*** Diver and marine researcher on a yacht! We are NOW looking for people interested in marine conservation and the environment. It is important that you are able to dive. Other useful skills include marine biology studies or experience and sailing or boat experience. You need to be available for at least 2 months. There is a small cost which covers your board and food. You would meet the boat in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The boat will go up north through the Vanuatu islands and then head towards Brisbane where it will end its journey.*** We are Chris and Julia and often Chris's 16 year old daughter Sophie. We currently also have two french interns helping us but they are about to leave. We would love to have an individual or a couple who would like a longer stay helping to run our environmental organisation. We live on a small eco-village in Northland, New Zealand close to beautiful beaches. We require help in looking after our home and garden as well as administration work for our aid organisation . It is a charitable organisation that provides marine conservation and humanitarian aid to the Pacific Islands. Sometimes there is work on the yachts and in the Pacific Islands.
