Hi everyone,
I am Zeynep from Austria.

I am a 25 year old student who quit her part time job to spent a year abroad, which I wasn't able to do as a gap year during my studies due to COVID. As for now I got a work & travel visa for Canada and hope to travel around, learn about cultures and meet some amazing people all around the country.

Since my father was a traveller and took me to diffrent places all around Europe, I took this hobby from him and visited over 20 countries including Canada (Halifax) in 2018, which was one of my longest trips and had a great impact on me, which is why I decided to come back and visit diffrent parts of the country! :)

As for me: I would describe myself as a free soul, seeking for new adventures and new input to challange myself and the mindset I grew up with. I am an extroverted introvert, which means that I enjoy being around people a lot, but I also need time for myself to charge some energy.
Other than that, I love to leave my comfort zone, that made me solo travel a lot, do a degree in engineering, buy a Yamaha motorcycle and some other crazy stuff.

Since I am new to Workaway, I am already pretty curious on what to expect. However I have been using Couchsurfing actively for a year and have hosted amzing people around the world and have been Couchsurfing to one of my guests. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During my studies I did diffrent kinds of work to earn some money, which included giving private lessons to children and teaching them german or maths. Also I have 3 nieces and one nephew that I love to take care of. So I would say I am good with children.

I had a cat for a few years and therefore know how to take care of them. I never had a dog but used to play a lot with the dogs of my friends.

Other than that since I take care of my own household, I'd say, that I can do anything around the house that includes not only cooking or cleaning but also repairing whatever isn't working - at the end I'm an engineer :)
