My name is Ricardo, but most friends call me Ricky. I have a deep-seated passion for the harmonious blend of technology and human creativity. This isn't just a passing interest; I've been privileged to help develop an app for entrepreneurs in Colombia. To me, coding and programming are more than just tasks—they're a canvas where I can paint my contributions.

However, my love doesn't stop in the digital world. Art has always been a soulful companion on my life's journey. It's been a bit since I've put pencil to paper, but I hope to reignite that flame soon and bring to life the myriad visions I hold within.

In recent times, I've found a spiritual connection with nature. The serenity of the forests, the expansive beauty of landscapes—they provide a refuge where my mind can find peace and solace. It's a transcendent experience that allows me to disconnect and rejuvenate, often losing track of time as I immerse myself in nature's embrace.

As I step into this Workaway journey, my hope is to seamlessly intertwine my love for technology, art, and the great outdoors. I'm eager to absorb from this community, share my own tales, and co-create unforgettable memories.

Technical Expertise: Beyond administrative roles, my passion lies in technology and programming. I'm proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced features like Excel pivot tables), basics of several design and development tools (such as Adobe XD, Figma, React Native), and have experience with SAP Hana/Cloud Customer Services.

Design & Media: I am competent with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Final Cut, reflecting a blend of technical and creative expertise.

Communication: Fluent in Spanish, with upper-intermediate proficiency in English and Portuguese. My IELTS score of 6.5, with a speaking score of 7, stands testament to my English capabilities.

Adaptable & Resilient: My roles have required me to work under pressure, manage varying workloads, and showcase exceptional attention to detail. This is further evidenced by my stint as a Customer Services Triage Officer at Christchurch City Council, where I successfully managed over 2,000 customer inquiries in just 3 months.

IT Project Manager & Design/Frontend Developer: Contributed remotely to the non-profit SmartCards App project, where I led a team to develop a React Native application for Colombian entrepreneurs.

Admin & I.T. Assistant: At World of Associated Lawyer & Company S.A.C., I not only managed office operations but also spearheaded the development of WordPress and JavaScript landing pages, enhancing the sales strategy.

IT Assistant at Disperse, London: Worked remotely in a tech-driven environment where I supported machine learning teams, ensuring accuracy and quality of content.

Vice-President of CIDEMI: Managed teams, organized events, and promoted entrepreneurship at the University of Lima.

I've also expanded my horizons by participating in MIT's Latin America vs COVID-19 Hackathon and further sharpened my digital skills through courses from renowned platforms like Udemy and Codecademy.
