Hi Work Awayers!
*edit* we are currently looking for someone for the autumn, from September to November :)
We are a friendly family that have recently moved to Holland from London. We have two little boys, aged 2 and aged 4, and a friendly and fluffy old cockapoo dog.
We live in a large townhouse in The Hague, with large back garden and veranda, large living room and separate play room, and WorkAwayers get their own room, own bathroom and own bike :) There are lots of cafes, shops, parks and playgrounds on the doorstep, and everything is walking distance. If you like cycling, the beach is about 15 minutes away by bicycle.
In terms of what we’re looking for, we would love to meet someone who enjoys spending time with children, and who would be happy to get involved - playing with toys, playing hide and seek, doing drawing / painting, reading stories, taking the boys to the parks and playgrounds etc. Even better if they're willing to help a bit with maths, reading, arts and crafts, a nature walk, singing nursery rhymes and humouring them with their imaginations and games. The WorkAwayer will need to have a lot of patience – for example to remain calm during occasional tantrums, crying, small arguments between the boys etc.
We would ask for 25 hours per week, but this can be spread over 5 days (or 4 if you prefer). Schedule discussed in advance of course, so that you can plan your free time :)
Feel free to ask any questions and we hope to work with you soon :)Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

The Hague is a great city, full of beautiful parks and woods and beaches and beach bars, and it's also home to parliament, the queen's palace, United Nations, the peace palace, and other places of interest. It's a city that's full of expats and internationals.

Playtime
Rory is 2 years old and he is a very funny, affectionate and active little boy. He loves physical tasks – splashing with water, watering the plants, pouring water from one cup into the other cup etc. It's the simple things! And he loves reading stories together. He is a cuddly boy and loves to snuggle. He has a big sweet tooth so you can solve any problem or bad mood with a biscuit. His favourite word is “snack”.
Huxley has just turned 4 and is very chatty. He will tell you every thought that comes into his mind and ask lots of questions! ;) He will be starting school for the first time in September so he will be out of the house until 3o'clock during the week. Hux loves playing with his little brother, they really are best friends and for the most part they can keep each other entertained. Hux loves playing hide and seek, doing puzzles, going out on his bike or scooter, and playing with his toys. He also loves watching TV and movies (he will try and rope you in to do “Friday night movie night” with him on the sofa with popcorn - an occasional treat which he absolutely loves).Idiomas hablados

Lotte, Jonathan and their boys were very accommodating. And, they had just moved into their new house when I arrived! From playing with the boys, scooting in the park and very entertaining meal times, my heart overflowed with joy.

They really set the bar high for my first work away stay. I had such a wholesome and welcoming experience. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
My day would be spent with Hux and Rori going to the park or taking part in imaginary games. May I add they were the most adorable and fun little… read more

Taking care of Huxley and Rory was such a joy! They love learning and playing together, so it's not a surprise we created new games for our daily "adventures".
I had a really nice time with her two boys, they are funny and full with energy. The communication with Lotte was great, she always told me beforehand my schedule and I could always ask her, when I needed something.
In the evenings we eat… read more
