  We are based on the outskirts of Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. We are a mum and two children (both primary school age). If you like working outside in the garden and (mostly) vegetarian cooking you should enjoy spending some time at our home. We are currently playing a lot of instruments and have a room for music that has 2 x guitars, 2 x keyboards, a clarinet, a saxophone, a fiddle and a drum kit.

  You will get an opportunity to live with a local family. Our lives are busy with school, sports and music activities. We will not always get an opportunity to eat together but there will be plenty of food in the house for you. We will provide general groceries and food.

  We would like some help in the garden. We keep two hens, have some fruit bushes and have lots of jobs to do including preparing some existing raised beds for growing herbs and vegetables. We would also appreciate help with general housekeeping and small spring cleaning jobs.

  A large upstairs double bedroom with a small walk in wardrobe, desk and electric blanket! You will have your own bathroom. You can also avail of your own fridge and cupboard space in the utility room beside the main kitchen.

  The whole coastline of Donegal is on the Wild Atlantic Way with lots of amazing beaches. Most of the following beaches are surf beaches depending on wind and swell conditions. Rathmullan 25 mins; Portsalon 30 mins; Downings 35 mins; Marble Hill 35 mins; Falcarragh 45 mins; Dooley 1 hr. You would ideally need your own transport to get them easily.
  
  Letterkenny is a gateway town for the North West and us a bustling hub for shopping and entertainment with many cafes and parks.
  
  It is home to An Grianan theatre and the Regional Cultural Centre (RCC) arts centre and has regular theatre, comedy and live music events. It’s also the main shopping town in Donegal with many high street shops.
  
  There is a limited Local Link bus service. We are also around 35 mins from historic city Derry in Northern Ireland.
  
  Letterkenny town centre is less than a ten minute drive or a 40 minute walk from our house.

  You would be sleeping in a large double bedroom which has a built-in desk and access to good Wi-Fi.

  There is plenty of space to park a campervan. We have kept one ourselves!

  We would consider pets especially if they are small, cute and clean! We have a large garden for them to run around.
