Description
Hi! My name is Tom, I have just graduated from University in England, but I want to continue learning, tasting and trying new things rather than settling down into a stable job in the city. I have been travelling around the world for some years using couch-surfing and hitchhiking, however I have never workaway'd before, it seems like a great way to travel which is why I want to do it!!
Whilst studying at University I also worked in the student bar and as a lifeguard (not at the same time)!! Whilst not travelling in the summer I also worked in a hostel in London, accommodating and conversing with guests from all around the globe. I have over 3 years voluntary experience working with the homeless community in my home town.
I am currently based in the UK trying to learn the basics of Spanish before I head towards the beautiful Colombian city of Bogota. I am completely open to where opportunities pop up and I'm willing to try pretty much anything once! I have not ruled anything/anywhere out and love keeping doors open!
I love experiencing new things, the natural world, food (especially fruits), running, swimming, climbing, music, guitar, learning about new places, cultures and languages, meeting new people and much more!! I want to continue to live a life that challenges my perceptions, stretches my boundaries and makes a positive contribution to the world.Interests
