I'm the type of person who enjoys the outdoors, meeting people and doing new things. While I do enjoy my time in the city drinking beers with fellow travelers, I do find my happy place in nature. Whether that be hiking, skiing, or simply being surrounded by the tranquility of a sleepy little town.

Currently I'm all about personal growth and learning. Having spent a while on the road over the last few years I'm now looking for an opportunity to slow down my travels a bit and focus on self development.

In terms of a Workaway, I'm relatively new but eager to expand my horizons. I'm here for the learning opportunities, the chance to share my passion for the outdoors and also photography, and to be a part of some meaningful projects.

I studied photography and worked commercially for a few years when I was younger. Although I don't have my full camera kit with me I can certainly still share my skills and experience for anything photography related. I also have skills in photo editing and graphic design.

I also have plenty of experience working in the outdoors doing track and national park maintenance. I am comfortable using most power and hand tools, and have experience using chainsaws. I also have a qualification in basic tree falling 🪵.

My other hobbies in the outdoors include, skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain-biking and basically anything in the mountains.

I'm also just getting into philosophy and web development of all things so I'm happy to talk about anything form Stoicism to JavaScript.
