Hi:)
My name is Mira, I am 21 years old, and I grew up in Zurich, Switzerland. I studied at a university college in the Netherlands and just finished my Bachelor's degree in Politics and Economics. Now I am taking a gap year before starting my Master's to have some time to figure out what it is that I really want to do, to travel and to experience the world from a different perspective. I always loved travelling and I have seized every opportunity I got to grab my backpack and explore some place new.
I did two previous workaways, one in a hostel in Morroco, and one in the Swiss mountains during Covid times. Both were such lovely experiences that I am eager to start a new adventure.
I am a very sociable person and love to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. I studied at an international college campus which just further sparked my curiosity to learn about the world and the people in it.
I am also attentive, reliable and hard working. I have worked in numerous restaurants and bars which taught me important hospitality skills. I speak English and German fluently, and I have a good base in French.

I am an attentive and curious person and a very fast learner. I worked in a restaurant/bar for several months, hence I am familiar with the service sector. I also attended the European Bartender school and am a confident bartender now.
I speak three languages fluently but I am always exited to learn more. German is technically my mother tongue, but I grew up bilingual and passed the English Cambridge proficiency test with the grade B.
Furthermore, I worked as a tutor for two years and helped children, attending primary school, with their homework and exams in all school subjects.
