hi!
My name is Min and I'm from Toronto, Canada. For the past two years I was a university student in Montreal, Canada, but realized that university might not be for me. I decided to take this year off to travel, work, meet new people, and learn. I enjoy the outdoors, rock climbing, music, and cooking! I spent the past few months tree planting, and guiding canoe trips, so I'm experienced in physical outdoor labour and in fact, I quite like it! Canoe tripping in a big passion for me! I've been going every year since I was about 10, all throughout Canada. I love spending time by the water :) I 'm looking forward to meet new people, get out of my comfort zone, and learn and live from different lifestyles!

some background about me, I grew up in toronto, where I spent my time after school rock climbing, taking piano lessons, and canoe tripping in the summers. In high school I worked as a cashier and cook at a small fast food restaurant and eventually I started working at my rock climbing gym, teaching kids. I took a year off after high school in 2020-2021, where I worked at a Montessori school and the following summer I went on a 53 day canoe trip in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
After, I went off to school in Montreal, Canada, where I studied religions and cultures. I spent two years studying, and guiding canoe trips in the summer. This previous spring I also worked as a tree planter!
I really enjoy outdoor work, and living in small communities. I would also like to learn more about maintenance, such as building, woodwork, and crafty skills like that. This past summer, at my canoe tripping camp, I spent 2 weeks working the maintenance job, clearing trails, and fixing miscellaneous things around the site, and I quite enjoyed the work and would like to explore that more! I would also love to spend more time working in gardens, growing produce and working on farms!
