Hi everyone! Nice to meet you! I'm Carmina, from Canada.

I graduated from university last year and immediately jumped into a teaching job - keep in mind, my area of expertise is communications! I felt completely overwhelmed, to put it lightly, but finished the school year successfully! : ) Before moving to Germany for the next 2 years with my partner, I'd like to get some solo travel in, mainly to decompress, reflect, and connect with myself again.

I love surfing, meditation, yoga, caring for animals, reading self-help/nonfiction books, learning languages, and budget travel! English and Romanian are my native languages, I'm an intermediate French speaker and a beginner in German + Spanish. I've lived in Canada, France and Germany, visited 29 countries, and set foot on 4 continents.

I'm open-minded, easy-going, and adventurous, but love the adrenaline and thrill that comes with new experiences. I love talking about sustainability, the environment, the climate crisis, mindfulness, emerging technologies, AI, and ego identity/the path to inner peace (yes, I am currently reading Eckhard Tolle!;]) I know 2 awesome (and addicting) card games and would like to improve my "handywoman" skills : )
