Hi everyone! I am a recent law school graduate and have some time off before starting my new job and I am keen to use the time to broaden my horizons by experiencing new ways of living.

I am a naturally friendly and curious person who loves finding out about people's backgrounds and exploring new cultures. I have previously volunteered and lived with a family in Togo (West Africa) which was a truly amazing experience that taught me so much.

Meeting fascinating new people and learning new skills from them (and sharing some of my own) is really what motivates me and keeps me looking forward to the future.

During my time in Togo, I picked up conversational French and very much enjoyed the experience. I am always keen to try and pick up new languages as I realise this helps immerse yourself more fully into the local culture.

For a bit of background: Hi everyone, I'm Matt!

I recently graduated from Exeter university in the UK where I studied law, and I will be starting a job as a trainee solicitor in a law firm next year. In the meantime I am very keen to further broaden my horizons and do something different and meaningful during my time off.

I am fit and healthy and able to help with all kinds of physical tasks around the house and outside. I am also very good with children; I previously lived with a family of three children in Togo during a volunteer scheme, and I have also worked as a Team Leader for a Summer Camp in the UK, where I was responsible for a group of young children. Both of these roles required safeguarding and pastoral training.

In terms of skills and expertise, I am someone who will give anything a go! Sports wise I am a keen cyclist but my favourite hobby is drumming and I would love to teach the art of drumming if this is of interest. I am also very much into drawing/painting and I love arts and crafts and making things.

Finally, I also have a keen interest in magic (particularly with playing cards) and wherever I go I am always looking to show off a trick or two! I have even performed magic at a few birthday parties in a paid capacity.
