Adventure, learning, and being outdoors are a few of the many things that bring joy to my life! Some other joys in my life include meeting new people, yoga, getting active, vegan food, reading, journaling, whitewater rafting, and hiking.
I am most motivated by the opportunity for personal development. I strongly believe that challenges and going out of my comfort zone are what give me the chance to growth and change. I love to spend time learning about myself, learning about others, and learning about the world around me, because there is so much growth to happen in this learning!Interests

In August of last year, I did my first workaway, which involved taking care of the host's children, cooking, cleaning, gardening, and creating trails, all of which was work I felt very comfortable with and felt skilled in.
For a little over a year, I was a nanny for a 7-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. During my time with them, I planned activities for them and took them on adventures! I love the energy and life that kids bring to everything that they do.
I have also worked as a trip leader, guiding travel trips for groups of 10-12 people. I managed logisitics, coordinated with people in the local area, and helped teach participants about the value of the earth and cultures around them. Doing this work helped me cultivate my leadership, communication, and awareness skills.
In addition to these roles, I have worked as a whitewater raft guide, a teaching assistant, a high ropes course facilitator, and a server. Skills that I bring beyond just my work experience include self-awareness, compassion, curiosity, and ambition.Age
