Morocco from end of January to end of April 2024

Description

I am a South African, a professional business person, English speaking with a passion for Morocco and have travelled all over Morocco from the north to the south and was caught in lockdown there during 2020. I'm a keen African explorer and have travelled to most African countries, most recently to Ethiopia, as Africa still offers us South Africans some place to travel during the pandemic... I want to plough back to the local communities. I am interested in learning the local customs, traditions and language. I am a diligent person, not lazy, hard working and can adjust to all circumstances, love learning and teaching back to people, can help with teaching computer skills and English and everything else I can learn. I am single, am an animal and nature lover and enjoy being outside. I am a long-distance hiker and have completed 2 Camino's so far, one in South Africa, walking 267km in 10 days in the semi desert and the Portuguese Camino de Santiago. I love hiking and yoga (I have been to India during December 2019 to attend a bit of yoga teacher's training). I'm an art lover and an artist myself. I love pets and am a cat whisperer (I think!). I believe in self-development and love to read and interact with people on all levels. I have during 2020 volunteered teaching English at Education for All in Morocco (nearly 3 months in Talat N'Yacoub) before being caught in covid-19 lockdown. I have a travel agency in Morocco with my Moroccan business partner and have already during 2023 in February trekked the Moroccan Sahara desert solo as a woman with a nomad guide, cameleer and 2 camels for 15 days and nearly 300 km. During February 2024 I will trek the Sahara desert again for 21 days (with a friend) and hope to get to 400 km. After that I will be hosting a group of travelers for 12 days, after which I will have a break, then host another group in April for 12 days. I am fully familiar with Moroccan culture and traditions, the tourism industry, the concept of accommodations in Morocco, the importance of treating clients well and the tourism industry in general, as a world traveler. I have been featured in local and international magazines and newspaper (Moroccan World News) for my volunteer work done in Morocco, and my desert treks and African travels in general.

I'm an avid long-distance walker and desert trekker. I'm also interested in animals, art and tourism (I have a travel agency in Morocco). I am interested in learning something about new languages and I'm an avid world traveler. I have volunteered for 3 months last year in Morocco, teaching English to the high Atlas Mountain girls while living with them remotely. I am a yoga fundi and have been to India in December 2019 to do some teachers training. I love reading, being in tune with nature (I'm not a city person), learning and experiencing. I love interacting and meet new people. I am a chilled out, life loving person but I also understand the serious and professional side of business well.
