Description

Hey everyone, I’m Liam (26) a current solo traveller from Sydney Australia. I recently quit my job and sold my car so I could travel for at minimum the next year but hopefully longer all around Europe. So far I have travelled to Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Germany where I have been living in Berlin since December 2023.

I have travelled through Europe and the UK, Argentina and Thailand pre-covid but only for short periods of time, so looking forward to some extended travel time in case another pandemic hits!

I also have an intense passion for music playing drums in bands for the past 8 years and also love to curate playlists on Spotify. I am a big lover of cinema too and plan to do a screenwriting course in 2024. I can talk about movies and music for hours on end!

I enjoy pushing myself to step outside of my comfort zone to experience something new with the hope of leading to a bit of personal growth and most of all something of value to remember. With that I am up for anything Workaway has to offer.

I love being out in nature, having times of being busy but also time to relax and appreciate the world around me. Meeting new people is something I always enjoy too, having the chance to learn about their life stories, along with some good wine and music.

I have worked in many different industries over the years:
- Spent 3 months volunteering at EastSeven Hostel Berlin (9.8 rating). Completed tasks such as working at reception, checking people in and out, housekeeping, running social events, cooking family dinner and night shift.
- 7 years of hospitality experience working in cafes and bars
- 2 years working in nature conservation in Australia
- 2.5 years working in childcare.
- I also have a degree in psychology and most recently worked as a Child Mental Health Counsellor for Kids Helpline Australia.

I am also physically fit and am comfortable with any physical work.
