Description
Hello! My name is Kassi and I am from the United States of America.
I have always been passionate about the environment. Our world is dying as we speak, due to climate change. It devastates me that the Earth will someday be inhabitable. And humans are doing little about it. Our future generations will have to deal with the effects of climate change. This motivates me to serve as an environmentalist in my community. I bring awareness to our current global crisis. I also advocate for veganism. As a vegan, I am aware of the overconsumption of animal products. The fishing and animal farming industries deplete resources that are crucial for the future of this planet. I will continue to do what I can for the well-being of this Earth.
Dance brings me joy. It feeds my soul. I have been a dancer for over a decade, and it has always been my outlet. It allows me to feel and to express my thoughts in a way that words cannot.
Food and travel also bring me joy. I love traveling the world and discovering new vegan restaurants. Food helps me connect with people around the globe. I am always down to try new foods.Interests

I am interested in conservation work. Last summer, I took a trip to Costa Rica with a group of 18-year-olds from NYC and Western Massachusetts. We assisted researchers with turtle conservation and studied animals that live deep in the rainforest. For two straight weeks, I had no access to electricity, limited clean water, and access to plant-based dishes. I was able to adapt and take on new skills. I learned how to track sea turtles and handle their eggs. I also learned how to study behaviors in different animal species, such as Capuchin monkeys and Great Blue herons. In July, I plan on traveling to Madagascar to apply my skills in conservation.
I also have experience working in cafes. For the past 5 months, I have worked in a vegan cafe that primarily serves dessert and espresso drinks. I usually work alone in the cafe, making sure it stays clean and that customers are satisfied with their experience. I know how to stay on task and work 10-hour shifts if needed.
I am very adaptable and willing to learn what comes my way.Age

I am a neuroscience major, so I am very interested in how the brain functions.
I also study law, dance, and sustainability at my university. Anything related would be of great interest to me.Some more information
