Hi, I'm Kaat and I wish to see a lot more of the world. I'm always excited to learn more and work hard so I can always give a good helping hand!

I just finished high school and am taking a gap year to travel and have some new experiences and learn about the world. My fabourite part of travelling is really immersing myself in the culture and learning the way of life in a different place. I'm always down to meet new people and wish to have a big network of people from all different kinds of places.

I hope to use workaway to make friends whilst I'm away and to learn new skills. Of course I also like to share the skills and hobbies I have wherever I stay. Wether this would be cooking or teaching new languages or doing some housework, I'm down for anything.

I can cook meals and do some handy work around the house like painting and cleaning. I've been a babysitter for a while so I love to work with kids and families. I also speak English and Dutch on a native level so I could help teach those languages. While I was in school I had a job at a café so I already have some experience in service. If there is a new task me to learn or master I'll always be up for it and I'm a quick learner.

I am pretty active in sports and can be quite competitive (but still always fair and fun) in games. I'm a big reader and a lover of all arts and cultures so if you can teach me anything about that or have books to recommend don't hesitate!
