Travelling
Description
Hey everyone, my name's Julia and I'm a 24 year old traveller from Aus!
I'm a proud queer feminist who, before beginning my travels to the UK and Europe in May, was working in Melbourne as an actor.
My three favourite topics to talk about are acting (an obvious choice), siblings (or just any type of relationship dynamic), and left-wing views/news.
Right now what brings me happiness is playing the piano, learning and improving my Italian, and reading at the beach or the river.
My current goal is to travel and make new memories and push myself out of my comfort zone, which I think I can say I have achieved in these last four months of travelling! I like the idea of slow travel, and I'd much rather get to know a place locally and in detail rather than rush through as a tourist. I have never explored the East of Europe, and my friend particularly loved Albania and recommended it, so it's next on my travel wish list.
I'm a very organised, sentimental and reflective person, who is both anxious and extremely outgoing at the same time. And I like to live my life like the main character - which is probably why I love being an actor so much! :))Interests

I completed a Bachelor of Acting for Stage and Screen at Federation University, Australia in 2020. The degree has given me knowledge and skills in leadership, communication, problem solving and time management. I have a lot of experience working in hospitality which those skills are also used for, along with waiting on tables, preparing food, making drinks and working the till.
My top skills are playing the piano and speaking Italian.
I have experience with tiling, painting and gardening.Age

What else ...
I love salsa dancing and was taking lessons in Melbourne before I started travelling, but it was so fun and I am obsessed every time I've stumbled across a salsa party while I've been travelling! I found one in London, one in Lisbon and also recently in Ascoli Piceno. It's always so beautiful to think that I'm on the other side of the world, I might not be able to speak the language, but when I dance salsa with someone it'll be just like back in Australia, it'll always be like a universal language.
I'm also enjoying teaching anyone around me the Italian card game, Scopa. I think I taught nearly every person I met while travelling, whether they wanted to play or not! :D
Other hobbies that I haven't previously mentioned are journaling, swimming, running, and getting obsessed with whatever tv show I'm currently bingeing (right now it's Bridgerton). Some more information
