Hi there!

I’m Josh. I’m from the United States. I was raised in Boulder, Colorado. I grew up playing sports. Mainly soccer (football). I love to ski and golf and be outdoors. I’ve been teaching myself guitar for the last several years and I just started with piano. I also taught myself to sew during covid! I’m curious by nature and just want to have a good time! I love walking around cities without an agenda. I enjoy time by myself, thinking, writing, or reading. But I also love meeting people and going out on the town to dance!

I love to cook and I love food. That is what led me to Workaway in the first place. I thought it would be a great opportunity to learn how to produce food sustainably as well as use those ingredients in different cuisines all over the world!

But more than just food I am interested in learning about different ways of life. I want to see and do and experience as much of this world as I can!

I’m currently traveling around solo for my first time. I’ve got no plans. I’m just seeing where the world takes me!

While I wouldn't label them strictly as "skills", I've accumulated a variety of experiences: home remodeling (kitchens and bathrooms), deck building, tiling, using power tools, cooking, sewing, a touch of farming, and some customer service from my time in hospitality. These have laid a foundation for me, but I'm here primarily because I'm eager to learn. I pick things up quickly and am always up to dive into new challenges and help out where I can!
