Most of the people who have shaped me most are those who I have met whilst travelling, even if I only knew them for a short time. I love getting to know new people and to listen to their stories. I enjoy learning languages because I think it's the best way to connect with people from around the world. I am always up for an adventure, be it a spiritual journey on a commune, a big night out in a city, going on a group hike or taking children on a treasure hunt.

More details about my language interests
I just graduated from a language degree, so I am always interested in learning and teaching new languages! It's great for me to practise the languages I already have, but I would also love to learn your language if I don't know any of it already. I have experience in teaching multiple languages to multiple age groups, sometimes teaching classes, sometimes one-on-one.

I have lots of experience at participating in DIY projects, from building a pizza oven to digging a path to constructing a yurt. I am good at working with my hands: painting, sewing, gardening, photography... you name it!
I am a good cook (especially for vegetarian food) and know some things about organic farming and permaculture.
I love working with children and inventing new games to play and activities to take part in. I have been babysitting since I was 14, and I have worked in nurseries, as a language teacher, and in a summer camp for teens, so I am familiar with children of most ages.
I have experience as a language teacher in multiple languages, for group classes and private tutoring.
I have lots of experience of waitressing, bar work and working in hotels and hostels and am efficient and reliable at serving customers, cleaning, changing stock, tidying etc.

What else ...

I love to write and try to practise as much as possible. I like reading novels and watching films from all around the world. I lead an active and creative lifestyle, so am always happy to go rock climbing, sit and draw, swim in the river, knit etc. etc. I might bring my guitar with me too. I do some yoga in the morning most days and like to drink coffee and tea regularly :)
