I would say my strongest skill is probably home cooking--I could give Chopped a run for its money ;)
I have a BS in Animal Science, and I have been working in native (California) restorative landscaping for the last two years as well as teaching regenerative edible gardening to middle school and learning-disabled adults.
I also have excellent writing/grammar/typing skills; over 8 years of barista experience (and tons of customer service to boot); I'm good with people/kids as I have a generally friendly and easy-going demeanor; I'm decent at drawing/lettering/photos/social media content; I find satisfaction in cleaning and am an eager worker when given a task!

I was born and raised in New Orleans and have been living in Los Angeles with my husband (musician/actor/cinematographer) for the last 9 years. I enjoy the cultural diversity of the city, the food, and the endless outdoor adventures nearby, but I hope to live a more rural life in the future as we start a family.
I joined Workaway to fill time between jobs with some experience in my favorite place I've ever been--Ireland! I dream of returning all the time, and to be able to stay with and help a local family is a literal dream.
