Hello, Workawayers and hosts! We are Federico and Ana, an enthusiastic young Uruguayan couple with a deep passion for travel and the enriching experience of cultural exchange. Both of us originate from Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, where we were born and raised. We love Uruguay's countryside, with its natural landscapes and the warm, inviting ambiance of their communities.

Our journey has led us to Bloomington, Indiana, where Ana is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Sustainability at Indiana University. Ana's academic pursuit opens up a world of opportunities for us to dive into U.S. culture, explore diverse regions, and naturally, share our Uruguayan culture.

We are both laid-back and contemplative souls who derive immense joy from life's simplest pleasures. Whether it's the beauty of a sunset, listening to the birdsong, or finding solace in the embrace of nature, these moments hold a special place in our hearts. Additionally, we revel in the experience of reading book on the beach and engaging in profound conversations with friends over mate, a typical Uruguayan beverage.

Federico is a proactive and responsible individual who thrives when he has meaningful tasks to occupy his time. With his background in teaching music at the secondary education level, he possesses a profound love for music, skillfully playing the guitar, and sharing his musical talents. His passion lies in introducing others to the rich and diverse musical traditions of Uruguay.

Ana, has a deep affinity for nature, takes pleasure in craft arts such as knitting, and is an avid sports enthusiast. She is known for her responsibility and keen attention to detail. Her love for the outdoors and her creative spirit beautifully complement Federico's musical talents. Both of us have had volunteer experiences back in Uruguay, particularly in the realm of charity work and leading activities for young people in low-income neighborhoods.

Federico has already had a positive and enjoyable experience with Workaway in the past. Now, we both eagerly anticipate making our first Workaway journey together a reality. We are excited to embark on this thrilling adventure as a team, poised to learn, share, and craft meaningful memories along the way!

Federico have a degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Music Education, along with a Master's in Educational Leadership and Management, focusing on helping vulnerable adolescents stay engaged in education. He have worked as a youth group coordinator, music teacher, choir director, and social education reference for adults in poverty.

Ana hold a degree in Civil Engineering and currently is pursuing a Master's in Environmental Sustainability with a concentration in Municipal Sustainability. She has a long experience as a hydraulic engineer and environmental consultant, aligning her technical skills with sustainability and environmental impact.

Together, we offer:
- We are organized individuals who keep our home clean and tidy, dedicating time to maintaining it.
- We love cooking healthy meals and snacks, constantly seeking new recipes and improvising with available ingredients. Our family and friends often praise our delicious cooking.
- We are committed to sustainability, managing a composting bin and diligently classifying waste for recycling, even though it's not a common practice in our country.
- As millennials, we are tech-savvy and proficient with computers, showing an interest in learning programming. While we don't use social media extensively, we value technology for various purposes.
- With many nieces and nephews, we enjoy spending time with children, relishing in their sense of wonder and discovery. We can engage with them through play, storytelling, music instruction, and more.
- We have a strong willingness to collaborate and contribute to various tasks. While lacking experience as handymen or farm workers, we are quick learners and approach new challenges with dedication and enthusiasm.

We enjoy running and playing sports, and we love taking easy walks in nature to take in the beautiful sights. Oh, and we are also really into hiking!
