Description
Hello! My name is Emmeline, and I'm from the U.S.A.! I am friendly, adventurous, independent, and always willing to learn and try new things! A bit about who I am: I live in New York City, so I don't get to experience as much nature and I would like. I love to be in the mountains, on the water, or among forests, and I love to work with animals. (I would really like to work with horses, so this is specifically what I am looking to do this summer!)
My previous WorkAway experience includes working on a farm in Sweden, where I improved my Swedish language skills and worked with gardening and animals, (sheep, cattle, ducks, rabbits, chickens...) and also a stay at a monastery in Norway, where I assisted with planting, housework, and painting (and helping to build the new church)!
I am great with other people and with animals. I am friendly, patient, social, and very caring. In addition to farm, livestock, and gardening experience, I also have several years of experience working with children!
I have worked as a writing and speech tutor at the University of Minnesota, where I graduated in 2021. So if you are looking for a bit of a language exchange, I am a great candidate to help teach English!
