I am finishing up my first year of Master in Paris, but I really want to travel from november 2024 to July 2025 as I am taking a gap year.

Hi there !
I am a 21-year-old student from Paris, France. I am available during the whole month of July and I am looking for an experience abroad. I love traveling and discovering new cultures. I have planned many trips in my life and I have traveled to all the continents. My goal in life is to travel and meet as many people as I can. That’s why I am studying International relations as I want to work in embassies.
I am a pretty easy-going person, when I travel I try to explore as much as I can about the country, asking many questions to the locals. I genuinely want to experience the everyday life of others. That’s why I want to spend at least one month in a place in order to really get to know it and not just spend 3-4 days in the touristy areas.
One of my most unique experiences was in Poland, when I spent 5 weeks in a local town near Krakow with other volunteers, renovating a youth center for Ukrainian refugees. It was truly wonderful to get to know young people from other countries and to be fully integrated into a different culture.
I try to avoid taking planes and I prefer the adventures of green traveling :)
I also want to improve my language skills, I am fluent in English but I still make some mistakes. In Spanish I can understand written and oral elements, but I am not yet fluent in speaking. During my time in Poland, I attempted to learn Polish, but it proved to be quite challenging…
I am looking for a workaway experience where I can be fully immersed in an other culture and where I can meet many people from all around the world.

I would love to teach languages. I have been a private tutor in English and in French for 4 years, so I am used to this kind of lessons. Also I'd love to improve my Spanish or learn any new languages.

I'm a very curious 21-year-old student with many different interests such as arts, history, literature and geopolitics. When I am interested in a new subject, I really like digging into it. I am always the designated guide when I am traveling with friends. I am responsible for planning the day, selecting museums, choosing places to have fun. I truly love learning everything I can about the place's history.
I enjoy passing on my knowledge to others. I give private lessons as a part-time job and I am always telling anecdotes to others.
I am naturally friendly and find it easy to make friends by engaging in conversation and showing genuine interest in others.
I did many part-time jobs as a hostess, a barmaid, a cleaning lady, a baby-sitter and so on and it was always good experiences.
I have also done many missions of DIY, especially in Poland where I spent one month and a half renovating and decorating a youth center. I have a penchant for suggesting original ideas :)

I'm particularly looking forward to doing a Workaway. I've always dreamt of having the opportunity to go abroad on my own and to be fully immersed in a different culture. I really enjoy spending time with other people and doing a variety of activities.
