I am interested in learning about different cultures and stories that people have to share. I also want to learn new skills, both hands on and hands off.

Description

In August of 2023 I left the United States for the first time in my life to embark on the next chapter of my life. I graduate in December, and I am falling in love with the uncertainty of life. I want to explore and find new adventures, all while approaching new settings with an open mind. What motivates me is my curiosity. I want to learn about the world and how people fit within their environments. I love talking to people and hearing the stories they have to share. I find happiness in many things but primarily from being out in nature and working on hobbies, new and old. I am excited for the journeys that are going to come from Workaway!

I would love to help people learn English if that interests them. I would personally love to learn the language of the area I am in. I also really want to improve my Spanish whenever I am able to, especially in conversations.

I am graduating with a degree in Consumer Behavior with a double minor in Business and Design Strategy. I have a lot of experience in customer service from working in restaurants, including clerical work, bartending, and serving. I also worked in an elementary school with children from ages 5-12. This has helped me learn to get along with most people that I meet. I spend a lot of my free time trying to be active and trying to pick up new skills. I enjoy making things, such as art, particularly crocheting and embroidery, and cooking. I am a quick learner, and there is so much that I would love to learn.

There are a lot of skills that I would really want to learn if people have the time to teach them, specifically, farming and carpentry. I am good at acclimating to my settings, I can be really social, but I can also get along well on my own. I would consider myself a hobbyist, I want to try new things to learn more about my surroundings.
